This song is about a guy who is warned to not go down by the river or w/e and he does it anyways, and he sees a dead body...he feels guilty b/c he saw it happen, and he saw who did it but didnt do anything about it...the line "They did it once, They can do it again"....i think it means that theyve already killed, theyre not afraid to do it again, so he should keep quiet..And the line.."The Van pulled up and opened the door (took all my love)..he saw them kidnap the person (maybe the woman he loves?) What does everyone esle think? |

OK well i can relate to this song on some level b/c at this moment my parents are in a HUGE ASS fight, and are now saying theyre getting divorced and screaming @ each other, so this song definitely has some comfort...
After reading a lot of yalls notes this is all i hafta say...
Yall are a lot more shallow than u obviously wanna let on, b/c ur sittin here bitchin about how they are "sell outs" in your opinion b/c their music has changed since they've become more famous...Things change, and u cant avoid it..and if u REALLY liked them as a band u'd get over it and just listen to their older stuff and shut the hell up...i hate it when ppl judge other ppl by what kind of music they listen to, and say that you're a conformist if u listen to "pop" music...If u really dont care about what other ppl think and so on, then why do u care about what kind of music ppl listen to? it has no effect on you!
