i love this song... as a business major, it's something that i've always kept in my head... that i'll never turn into one of them... i absolutely love this line "No man born with a living soul Can be working for the clampdown"... and yet i've seen the effect money has on people who are generally good and the destruction it causes... don't be a corporate slave! |

ok... i think this was probably the first phish song i ever heard... regardless... i don't know much about it but i think i know what this line means... "You won't find moments in a box And someone else will set your clocks"... to me this clearly means that you can't get fake expierences (drugs), you have to get out and live your life cause (as in physically out there, nature, family and friends)... the box to me is something technological as in a computer or T.V. the experiences there aren't "real"... as for someone setting your clocks, i believe this to has a meaning that if you let others dictate your life to you, your not living it... bleh |
