no i wouldnt take it, but i was slightly cynically amused by wildflower's claim that it was about her...listening to the song paints a rather negative picture - considering it is about child abuse and the consequences of it. And how the hell am I harsh? I sincerely doubt that wildflower can relate to any of the (fictional) events portrayed in this song, although I do wholeheartedly apologise for my seriously derogatory comments if this happens to be the case... |

You need to see the video to truly aprreciate this song. I think its about the use of the space race to cloud the events that were shaking America at the time, namely Vietnam. "Living with our heads underground" - ignoring what's really important. The video mixes tranquil scene's from space and the astronauts having a fun time with scenes of Vietnam, anti war rallies, explosions. Showing that everything may be fine and calm in space but down on earth things aren't as tranquil. |
