Of course I have. Funny, Laguna Sunrise is actually one of my favourate songs off the album. I never once discounted the other songs, its a great album but I feel this song is the best, its one of their doomiest as well, that opening riff....so heavy! |

the best instrumental Iommi's done, i love his little interludes, hes got so much technical skill. This is by far the best, the full orchestra creates such a lusch soundscape, its like a film score or of a dream sequence or something. Beautiful. |

hmm i dont know about the FIRST thrash riff, but its pretty heavy!! what they meant is the fast, palm muted powerchording on the downtuned E, and since its in 4/4 every 4th it changes chord, classic metal riffing. |

Although this is about the Ramstein accident I think it can also be about Auschwitz. Hear me out here, I know everybody know about the pits that the bodys were burnt in, but check the line:

its been well documented that around Auschwitz and other concentration camps animals wont go near them.
Also, in certain parts of the song you can hear the sound of a truck and of course, they used trucks to gas people then deposit the bodys on flaming pyres.
I am a massive fan of Rammstein and im not just being a n00b with all the nazi shit and I know I might get flamed for this, but I think this is the songs true meaning, the Atrocities of the Nazis.
