This song is my favorite by Crywank, but I am not sure about the meaning. It seems to be that they are going through a break up, not from fights or something, but just for the lack of passion in the relationship, because their hearts don't race, they beat in time.
They are used to be each other's, what doesn't mean it's good. Also, he says she was stole by a stone. A stone is lifeless, so I think she was stole by the lack of feelings, or by nothing at all, for so insignificant their relationship were.
Maybe she is shaking his hand to show respect after the break up, but as it always happens, some friends take the side of a specific person of the couple.

This song is beautiful and makes me want to dive more into country music. For me it seems that the writer is not exactly attacking other types of music and culture, but just putting in evidence the qualities of this music genre. God and country music are both conservative meaning that they stay as they started, that's why there are so many elements of purity in this song, specially when the child sings alone. They mean that God and Country Music are pure as a child, something you can always go back to because they'll never change.
The songwriter clearly values more the purity more than anything, that's why they choose something old and immutable to save at the end: god and country music. |

For me, it`s about how love can be everywhere and anyone feel it. It`s a calm song, bringing the calm feeling of being around the ones you love instead of only passion that makes your heart race, so much that they hearts beat at the same time.
I love particularly the lyrics "it`s enough to make kings and vagabonds believe the very best". When we love, we long for the best of it, the person or the relationship itself. Even kings and vagabonds, the highest and lowest of symbols of seeking for money and belongings. They can fall in love, and then suddenly money isn`t the main goal anymore. They start believing and longing.
