Panic! at the Disco – Girls/Girls/Boys Lyrics 2 years ago
It's about a guy who feel entitled to this girl who is a lesbian. He has jealousy and distaste for the girls partner. He is trying to convince her that it's natural for girls to actually be bisexual.

Kate Bush – Running Up That Hill Lyrics 2 years ago
I am aware this isn't the intention of Kate why she wrote this song. However, as a trans person I connect almost spiritually with this song. For me it's about the gender envy I feel when I see a good looking cis man being who he is. I want to switch places with him...I actually know someone who is a trans girl pre-everything and I wished we could trade bodies so she would be in what she wants and I would be in what I want.

Ellie Goulding – Lights Lyrics 2 years ago
It's about someone knowing exactly who they are and where their going only to be stopped in their tracks by bad memories coming back to them...ones that were blotted out for good reason. Or got bad news that would leave them in the 'dark' whether it would go this way or that way.

Kate Bush – Them Heavy People Lyrics 2 years ago
For me this song is about knowing self worth and using knowledge you've learned from the greats to become a 'great' yourself!

Gym Class Heroes – Cupid's Chokehold Lyrics 2 years ago
I absolutely love this song. It puts new context to Supertramp's Breakfast in America (which is also great). I think this is about how in the moment, this guy was a bit desperate and tried to convince himself he liked the first two women. In the end of both short lived relationships he realized they were shallow and he was naïve. The third relationship, he actually fell for her in a meaningful way. Uplifting ending for an otherwise sarcastic and bittersweet track.
