@[Doniaconi:35015] I agree, exactly. The main chorus is the real meat, that's where the fundamental meaning is: "You do it to yourself you do, and that's what really hurts". The other parts are more abstract. I don't know if he really means running from himself but it's a great metaphor. Whatever the case I think the anguish of doing something to yourself "self-sabotage" is really well captured in the song. Self-sabotage, one of the most perverse and frustrating yet plausible theories of all. |

@[nomishood:35014] How is it "not hard that to change things for yourself"? It's extremely hard to change, otherwise everyone would be doing it. People UNDERestimate how hard it is to change. |
