| I like the line, "and all is gone except the will to be." this referes to that battles are chaotic, and all that's left is the desire to survive. And again, "Men of five, still alive through the raging glow. Gone insane from the pain that they surely know" seems to be referring to muzzle flashes from gunfire, and their mad determination to continue fighting. I thought the use of those image was fascinating, and I think it's pretty well written. In terms of musical composition, Megadeth is a bit better, with the ability to write interesting guitar lines to keep listeners interested. Although, I do like the vocals of Metallica much more. | |
