Its about someone who is chasing the high of the needle through music. The steel train could be running through his veins but he is trying not to do it and he wont lie to his loved ones if he does. But he is trying to get that high from his music but ultimately the drug is the epitome of his happiness. Thats how i see it. He wants to hear the same song twice or three times or as many as he can. It never gets old. Just less potent. |

@[Comfortably:19562]-Numb Its actually quite the opposite. The first verse is about him going to sell his microwave,vcr and gun for drugs. He says "all i that i can see i steal"
He steals small appliances and sells them for drugs. Garden Grove is an area known for methadone clinics. So i see it as he is either going to sell those things for some methadone or at the most positive maybe admittance into a detox program. |
