This is one of the most heart wrenching songs I have ever heard my whole life. I cried the moment I first heard the first stanza of this song. This is my ex's song about our relationship. This song made me realize that everything that made me happy and hopeful about our relationship was all just a big lie. This song starts with a narration of the guy of not being true about the relationship he has with his girlfriend because he finds comfort in his solitary world. The most heartbreaking part of the song is where the guy says that he may show love (to some degree) to his girlfriend, but he's not totally in love with her. I may be broken right now because of the lies I had believed in my previous relationship, but I know that one day I will appreciate the lessons my relationship has taught me. |
