Gorillaz – Kids With Guns Lyrics 11 years ago
I think this song is about as television begins to show violence more and more its beginning our children think there's nothing abnormal about going and shooting up there school or whatever they want to shoot up, because they get picked on or for whatever reason, because they saw something similar on TV, television is turning this next generation of children into "mesmerizer skeletons", as TV and other influences (i'm not going to blame it all on TV there r millions of things out there that r making them think violence is normal even reading about some war were having could desensitize someone, and even though i my self love all music i hate to say some of it is to blame 2, the devil was the choir leader in heaven be4 he was kicked out, he heard, sung, and wrote music that was so beautiful we cant even fathom it, so he definitively knows what hes doing) desensitize our children and turn them into monsters that go and shoot up schools then it affects every1 else by turning them into rule and safety monsters by making people worry about something similar happening again, and maybe there kid gets killed or hurt this time, so we put up these metaphoric, and physical protective locks making freedom more difficult to reach, and its all for desire of safety ("its all desire") "easy does it easy does it they got something to say no to" is a bit of sarcasm saying don't do something that your kids would say no 2 or disagree with in other words don't tell them what to do, you might be the next person they come after. (note) Im not saying all kids r bad infant very few of them r but every family should try practicing this when you hear on the news some person killed somebody or see something violent in a movie don't just think o i cant do anything about it, or its just a movie IT SHOULD BE A BIG DEAL!!!! im saying that as a hypocrite but that's how it should be, not saying it ever will.

Slipknot – Dead Memories Lyrics 11 years ago
So what i see this song as is a dude/chick about to kill himself/herself (the bitter pills of fate) because he/she got into a shitty relationship that he/she feels he/she cant get out of because he/she promised this person he/she would love her/him and even thought he/she doesn't anymore he/she feels like he/she would be breaking his/her promise by ending their relationship anyway hes/shes looking back on how he/she got to were he/she is today and his/her past self (the way he/she used to be) is telling him/her from deep inside that there is no hope for him/her and it has even forgotten that it ever existed (we were never alive and we wont be born again and we will never survive with dead memories in our head) the dead memories are feelings habits things that made him/her who he/she once was that he/she feels he/she can never bring back, (im not completely sure that the bitter pills of fate refers to suicide infact theres probably several differant meanings it could take on but if it douse then the person in this song isnt very bright i feel that there are certain circumstances that make suicide reasonable (please note there are very few and im not making any suggestions) but this is not one of them you can always go back to who you were mentally (not always physically) (note) please excuse the his/her thing i realize it might have gotten annoying and been unnecessary i just wanted 2 make it obvious that it could go both ways.

Nirvana – In Bloom Lyrics 11 years ago
Excuse me if someone already said this because i only read a couple of the comments on the top of the list, anyway Kurt Cobain was a man who was in love with emotion and when he wrote a song that was more of a head banger and saw the people in the audience more affected by that song than one of his more mellow and emotion filled songs it broke his heart, (there isn't anybody in the world that knows what any of cobains songs are about even if he came out and said thats what it was about he could have just been saying that because thats what mtv wanted him to say the way cobain wrote songs was anybody listening could relate whether i was about them or not he was was definitively a talented man) anyway what i see this song as is kurt talking about that emotionless person who sells his kids for food and doesn't give a shit about nature (hence "nature is a whore) and all the other emotionless things this guy does and how this guy thinks hes a nirvana fan he likes all there songs and he likes to sing along and likes to raise hell at there conserts and talk about what a big fan he is (shoot his gun) but he doesn't really understand what these songs that he loves so much are even truly about so he isnt really a fan he just thinks he is (he don't know what it means when i say yeah) but like i said it can be about whatever you want it to be about thats how he wrote his music.
