Kris Kristofferson – Loving Her Was Easier (Than Anything I'll Ever Do Again) Lyrics 12 years ago
Anyone can sing, but not many can write the best songs that will live forever. And the voice, it works in every song that he wrote, from Caseys last Ride to Why me Lord? There's no better version of Loving her was easier than Kristofferson's. His voice is perfect.

Johnny Cash – Help Me Lyrics 12 years ago
This is a song about Larry Gatlin, the guy who wrote it back in '71, at a time when he thought he lost everything and turned to god. It was first released on Kris Kristofferson's 'Jesus was a capicorn' with Gatlin also singing on it. I read that Gatlin was discovered by both Cash and Kristofferson. They were walking together down a street and passed a church and could hear gatlin singing. He did his first gigs with Kristofferson and then became famous in his own right. All the gokd in California is his biggest song. Later in life he turned to hard drugs, but now, as he puts it, found god again. By the way, I don't believe in the bible, but I do like both this song and Why Me Lord by Kristofferson. Cash also covered Why Me Lord.

Elvis Presley – Help Me Make It Through The Night Lyrics 12 years ago
It was Kris Kristofferson who wrote 'Help me make it through the night' one of the most recorded songs, not Tom.T.Hall. Toms famous song is 'Old dogs and children and watermelon wine. Also, the title 'Help me make it through the night' comes from what Frank Sinatra once said, I have a whisky and a bible to help me make it through the night.
The song is about sex, one night stand, and drugs and was never played on the radio until people like Elvis, Cash and later, Glandys Knight, her biggest hit.
