And of course: "Coca Cola, sometimes war" In my opinion Rammstein trys to say that the Americans do whatevery they want to. Good mood "hey lets drink some coke" and when they have bad mood: "hey lets attack some country" some shit like that. Ok, I'm done now. Comments please :) |

And the chorus "We're all living in America" actually means that America has its culture everywhere but also because they're the strongest country and have influenced every nation with its bullshit policy. Thats what i guess. |

All right people, listen up. Doubtless, this song IS anti-American no matter what you think. If you all would have been payin' attention when you attended school, then you would know how to analyse a text. Anyways, as far as I like to oppose your opinions, it is both coming together: the American way of life and its consequences effecting the entire world AND them not realizing that they are not the world's cop. I am from Germany but I have lived in the US for 11 months. Of course there are a bunch of pretty cool fellas and nice individuals, but as 'redrum' already sad, they are stuck in a magic bubble they have trapped in by government and its media. Rammstein is not complaining about America spreading and sharing their culture with other countries. Here in Germany, e.g. there are plenty of people who love the American culture, who just admire the American fast food. It's every individuals' job to keep an eye of WHAT they do! Rammstein is more making fun of the American war-mongers. Americans think they live in a country which is a country everyone is dreaming of, a country of freedom. Actually, there are only some detached Americans out here who realize that it is not. Americans government with its rules and regulations is a bunch of shit. They don't care of others, they don't care of global warming. America is one of the biggest heat-trapping ability in the world! All they care about is their lifestyle. It is all about worth, their consumer acceptance and their worldwide acceptance. And the last point was the biggest dispraise and shame in the US history. The government is filled up with a flush of morons, and all THEY think about is wealth. And they can only reach it with war (in Iraq e.g., and EVERYONE in this fucking world knows, it's all about oil!). I'm not wondering, why this backfired so striking! Well this is a point we just have came up to. Germany did a lot of mistakes in the past, too. But they are doing better now, they are one of the most peaceful countries on earth, fighting for freedom, giving money to poor countries and nations, fighting for them and sending troops to Afghanistan to help their police out to get a good education on how to fight terrorism. THAT'S what America has to do. Fuck off that oil. Try to drive less with your cars and try not to spend so much on fucking war! All Europe (and Rammstein in the song) is complaining about is that America has so many people who love to fight for they seem to be the greatest in the world which they are not. Try to come along with other countries, show some respect and do your best to get a good future. Germany knows well what it means to have a war-monger at its top. Yea, I think this is it. :) To all of you Americans out there: Don't get mad at me for saying this, but try to get this in your head and do your best of becoming more and more of a better place in the world. It's all about you citizens to reach the acceptance and honor you think you all deserve. Germany has also reached this. But not with war, but with peace. Thus, peace out, fellas! |
