To me this song seems to be about alot of different things. A guy can't stop thinking about his ex. But at the same time it almost sounds like he's bitter that she left him, so even if she tried coming back, he's saying shes better off moving on because it just wouldn't be the same, she ruined what they had, so its really not worth it, so even though he wants her, its kinda like he's saying "i miss you, but you had your chance, so you might as well not even try." |

I really can't believe he's dead. I mean sure we've all made More than enough MJ jokes, but still he has always been an icon, even if it wasn't always for the right reasons. I've never been a HUGE fan, but he was definately one of the first artists I remember listening to when I was a kid. I'm not really crying my eyes out now that he is gone, but I'm definately not dancing for joy about it either...MJ for a FACT was a gift to music. It is unfortunate that there were so many circumstances that inevetably distracted many of us from that over the years. R.I.P Michael Jackson. |

This song makes me cry. My Ex-and I love each other deeply, but we can never seem to keep things together in a relationship for good. On our collective 1 year anniversary last september we were getting ready for my homecoming dance and we were sitting in a walgreens just talking about stuff, until we both realized it was our 1 year anniversay. He cursed quietly, and said he felt bad because he had no gift for me. I told him it was okay, that I didn't need a present. Then this song came on and I'll never forget the huge grin on his face when he looked up and said "Thank you walgreens!" and he actually grabbed my hand, brought his face close to my ear, and started singing this song to me. (And he is actually pretty good at singing.) That memory was the best gift he could have given me. I will never be able to forget it. |
