America – The Last Unicorn Lyrics | 13 years ago |

Puscifer – The Undertaker (Renholder Mix) Lyrics | 14 years ago |
well...first of all...this makes me think of sex. lol but on the other hand it seems to be about a hard relationship. "Thank you for making me Feel like I'm guilty Making it easy to murder your sweet memory" the lover is making him feel guilty, possible about something he shouldnt feel guilty about, which makes it "easy to murder [her] sweet memory" and this person would turn the blame onto the speaker and act arrogant about it |
Alice in Chains – Check My Brain Lyrics | 14 years ago |
is he being sarcastic when saying, "So I found myself in the sun, oh yeah A hell of a place to end a run, oh yeah"? "I walk these streets, I creep and I fall, oh yeah" maybe he's not used to the place hes staying in. like the aforementioned move from seattle to LA. hes saying California's alright - better than expected? he didnt expect to feel that was so he says "check my brain" |
The Beatles – Helter Skelter Lyrics | 14 years ago |
i think this song is about a relationship. it makes me think of my last relationship... "When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride Till I get to the bottom and I see you again." she/he is going bottomwards and tries to bring him/herself back up, but wants to stay with that person so he/she goes back to the bottom. "Do you, don't you want me to love you." asking the other person if they want to be loved by the speaker. "I'm coming down fast but I'm miles above you." the other person is bringing the speaker down, but the speaker is still - mentally? maturity wise? - above the other person. |
Flunk – Blue Monday Lyrics | 15 years ago |
definitely about a relationship. i'm getting that it's about a guy who's spoken of his feelings for her, but mistreats her at the same time ("How does it feel To treat me like you do When you've laid your hands upon me And told me who you are") if it wasn't for the misfortune of the guy being there, or just being the way he is with her, she'd be "heavenly" "And I thought I was mistaken And I thought I heard you speak Tell me how do I feel Tell me now how should I feel" she thought she was mistaken when he told her. she thinks she heard him say one thing, when he may have been meaning to say something else. she doesnt know how to feel anymore, and is asking him how she should feel i LOVE this song. =] |
Middle Class Rut (MC Rut) – Busy Bein' Born Lyrics | 15 years ago |
saw them perform this at The Boardwalk in Orangevale, CA. amazing! just two guys can create this? again...amazing. when they say, "give it back or I'll take it" i think he may be talking about dignity or something similar. "and when the hope's gone the weight falls on me" people are always on your case. mainly i see it as someone who's always under pressure |
Tay Dizm – Beam Me Up Lyrics | 15 years ago |
on one hand, i see that he's talking about a souped up Chevy that's so high he feels like an alien in a UFO. on the other, i partly think he may be tripping. |
Eagles – Hotel California Lyrics | 15 years ago |
this song is - look up in the book 'Weird California" - about this hotel which was taken over by a cult of Satan worshipers. something like that. i remember reading the book and saw that part and was like, "hey! it all makes sense now." |
Middle Class Rut (MC Rut) – New Low Lyrics | 15 years ago |
this would have to be one of my favorites...i've been to several of their concerts at The Boardwalk [in Orangevale, CA] (might i mention that this is a two-man band??? =] ) it can have a few different meanings. from the part: "I have no space, no room to move around And this box is getting smaller I'm trying to get out How did I get so far from where I was? When did I decide to lose my way? Who have I become?" i get that it's about someone being under pressure and getting so caught up in it that they lose who they really are. they dont know who they are anymore. "I can not help feeling like I have so much at steak So I lock myself inside my head And I just run in place" maybe this is the only place they can be free [in their head] can't wait to hear this one live again. =] |
Shiny Toy Guns – Le Disko Lyrics | 15 years ago |

Clinic – The Equaliser Lyrics | 15 years ago |
this song does make me think of a bunch of people running around in a park while getting high/stoned. maybe that's because i watched Thirteen. lol |
Fleetwood Mac – Isn't It Midnight Lyrics | 15 years ago |
i love this song!!! but i am very confused as to it's meaning. it the singer a lesbian? because yes, it's a female, singing about a girl with a pretty face. then she says: You had a knack, a knack of making women know Ooh there wasn't the time And I knew you'd nver be mine pr maybe she's talking about a daughter...? |
