Listening to this on Halloween night 2013, lyrics take on a whole different meaning with Lou gone.

Bob Dylan – Seven Days Lyrics 11 years ago
I don't know why every site has the wrong lyrics, these are the most correct.

Seven days, seven more days she'll be comin'
I'll be waiting at the station for her to arrive
Seven more days, all I gotta do is survive.

She been gone ever since I been a child
Ever since I seen her smile, I never forgotten her eyes.
She had a face that outshined the sun in the skies.

I been good, I been good while I been waitin'
Maybe guilty of hesitatin', But I been hangin' on
Seven more days and all that'll be gone.

There's kissing in the valley,
Thieving in the alley,
Fighting every inch of the way.
Trying to get a lead on
Somebody to beat on
(Where/Well) the night's are always sadder than the day

Seven days, seven (are a-glowin')
But then the whistle will be blowin, she'll be comin' forth,
My beautiful comrade from the north.

Seven days, seven more days that are connected
Just like I expected, she'll be comin' on forth,
My beautiful comrade from the north.

Les Miserables – I Dreamed A Dream Lyrics 11 years ago
You do know there was more than one French Revolution, right?

submissions
David Bowie – John, I'm Only Dancing Lyrics 12 years ago
Didn't John Lennon make a negative comment about Bowie's clothing and the whole glam genre? I always thought this was just Bowie saying to Lennon that it's just a dance.

submissions
Blind Willie McTell – Delia Lyrics 12 years ago
These lyrics have mistakes in nearly every line.

The Velvet Underground – I'm Sticking with You Lyrics 12 years ago
Lou sang After Hours on the Live At Max's Kansas City album, which i think superior to Mo's (I'm not dissing on Mo, I think she's great).

Mott The Hoople – Marionette Lyrics 12 years ago
"Frustratingly, Mott were about to embark on a US tour which would have taken them to huge venues such as Madison Square Garden. Hunter says he felt under constant pressure to write the next hit. He described the stress in a song called "Marionette", which contains a line George Formby might have written, had he lived in a later, more introspective age of songwriting: "Where's my sanity gone — mother?""

It's really about how Hunter felt by the end of Mott.

Mott The Hoople – All the Young Dudes Lyrics 12 years ago
I'm certain that's the real meaning. "Carry the news" is the news of the end.

Terrific song nonetheless.

Bob Dylan – Blind Willie McTell Lyrics 12 years ago
Most of Dylan's stories from the sixties are fictional. Dylan never actually worked in carnival.

submissions
Coheed and Cambria – Star Cecil Lyrics 13 years ago
Yeah, it's nice to see Claudio revisit a Shabutie song. When he changed from Star Cecil to that cover that I can't remember, he said he hated the song so if you saw it in concert that may be the last time you ever will.

Bob Dylan – Big Yellow Taxi (Joni Mitchell cover) Lyrics 13 years ago
I actually prefer his version to Joni's version.

submissions
Bob Dylan – Sarah Jane Lyrics 13 years ago
The only original song on the 1973 Dylan compilation album. Seems pretty autobiographical if you ask me.

Sarah Jane is Sara Dylan?
Dylan had four children with Sara, as well as adopting her child from her previous marriage.

submissions
Bob Dylan – Baby, Let Me Follow You Down Lyrics 13 years ago
Mmm, I much prefer the 1966 live version, but I enjoy the song in any form.

submissions
Coheed and Cambria – The Broken Lyrics 14 years ago
I'm glad he stuck the Ring of Return into the song. I missed it in Good Apollo 2.

submissions
Coheed and Cambria – Far Lyrics 14 years ago
This song greatly reminds me of Shaubtie, especially the noises starting at 2:45.

Great song. I really like the guitar solo.

submissions
Coheed and Cambria – The Broken Lyrics 14 years ago
Haha great song. Can't wait for April.

cornbreadturner: "Amory" is the street name that Claudio grew up on.

submissions
Shabutie – Shameless Lyrics 15 years ago
I'd imagine parts (riffs, certain lyrics) of old material were reused. Strung Short says "But I'm a bastard" and The Final Cut as "I'm the bastard"

So probably lines and that a reused, but not that much.

submissions
Shabutie – Cassiopeia Lyrics 15 years ago
No, it's "Why" or just "Wide".

Great song!

submissions
Coheed and Cambria – Upper Armories of Third Deep Lyrics 15 years ago
This was an early version of "In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3" played live at shows in 2002. It has the same music as IKSOSE, but some of the lyrics differ.

submissions
Coheed and Cambria – Keeping the Blade Lyrics 15 years ago
Thanks for reading the above. I think every song (excluding tracks like "A Whole Lot of Nothing") a band makes should be here, regardless of lyrics or not.

submissions
Coheed and Cambria – Sister Christian (Night Ranger cover) Lyrics 15 years ago
11 comments and no one mentioned the fact it is by Shabutie?

submissions
Jethro Tull – The Hot Headed English General Lyrics 15 years ago
A little live piece they played in the early to mid 70s (and maybe afterwards) after Locomotive Breath, Aqualung, or Wind-Up.

Not really sure if the title is a reference to an actual general though.

One of the greatest instrumentals of all time.

submissions
Coheed and Cambria – The Light and the Glass Lyrics 15 years ago
I never thought it had to do with PFI.

And yes, I have noticed that little chuckle on "words"

I would say this is my favorite Coheed song. The ending is just amazing

submissions
Coheed and Cambria – I Shall Be Released (Bob Dylan cover) Lyrics 15 years ago
Why would he come here anyway? lol

I think it's cool that a band like Coheed would cover a guy like Dylan. Not my favorite Bob song, but it was still pretty good.

submissions
Coheed and Cambria – The Echomaker Lyrics 15 years ago
If anywhere, this song should be in the Prize Fighter Inferno list.

It was played on the acoustic night of The London Neverender branch. You can fid it on YouTube

Coheed and Cambria – Bron-Y-Aur Lyrics 15 years ago
Wasn't this just at the end The Willing Well IV: The Final Cut? Led Zeppelin Cover for anyone who didn't know.

Prize Fighter Inferno – Wanye Andrews, The Old Bee Keeper Lyrics 15 years ago
fattest got it right. Before playing this in London (Neverender) Claudio said that the song the story of how the ghost of Wayne Andrews has to leave his home and wife because he is scaring the the shit out of her.

submissions
Jethro Tull – For A Thousand Mothers Lyrics 15 years ago
In addition to the others the "Did you hear baby..." is Ian talking about his sucess. He probably refers to himself as "baby" due to the fact he was the youngest of three brothers. The other Anderson boys were much older than him, and left the house while he was a toddler.

submissions
Jethro Tull – Sossity, You're a Woman Lyrics 15 years ago
Sossity is a play on word of society. Tull's guitarist Martin Barre made thought the same mistake, and m bought a boat and named it Sossity. After Ian told Barre him the actual meaning, he sold the boat!

Jethro Tull – We Used To Know Lyrics 15 years ago
I think it has to go along the lines of "If you don't remember the past, you're doomed to repeat it" type of thing.

My favorite track from Stand Up. I love the flute on it.

submissions
Iron Maiden – Run To The Hills Lyrics 15 years ago
I'd say the song takes place 1850s to 1880s. Somewhere along the American settling of the West.

I would say it goes to a biased point of view to the Native American's favor. I would say it was written in this point of view due to Harris's nationality.

I'm American, and I feel bad for the Natives. But as someone much earlier stated, American Indians weren't all one group, but neither were the whites. One group attacked another, then the attacked attacks another one, even if they wanted peace.
