this song and band are amazing, and i've been a weezer fan for quite some time, and this is one of my favorite songs by them. This song is about just being yourself, who cares if you're cool? I just plain out hate what "cool" is. You have to act, dress, look, and be a certain way, and if you're not your never gonna get in, it's just stupid to me. I'd rather just be in the "middle" and just be myself instead of faking who i really am.

this song is about a man's descent into madness and eventual suicide. he's so confused, and he's always fighting himself, he doesn't know what to think, because he has different opinions on everything. his so called "cure" is drugs, which help out for a while, but eventually get him even more stressed out, and he can't take it, so he kills himself. Thats how i see it

first, i love this song. every part of it. I think it's about how this guy felt about a girl, he loved single thing about her, and he thot she cud do so much better, so he ended up trying too hard, and followed her everywhere, but that ended up pushing her away. And even though he is very unhappy, all he cares is that she is happy. the first time i heard this song it made me cry, and even tho i have listend 2 it many times, its still touching and great to me

i think this song is about how people today try to escape their problems. They start with substances and just laying around. Eventually they get angry and accuse people of being hipocrites, and saying that they dont care what anyone does. Then, they leave home, thinking they will never come back, but usually do.
