Dammit, why doesn't this song have a comment yet? How many bands make a song about themselves- and their fans?
This song gets me jazzed up everytime I listen to it. I start acting it out even. Air guitar, dice, cute head movements, everything. It's also a good song for when you feel down- it'll cheer you up, since they're talking right to their fans. "So smile, and stay with us."
Makes me miss them. They'd better get back together- I have a dream of seeing them in concert. And I have a crush on like three and a half members.
It would be nice if they started doing the occasional karaoke version, too. o_o |

I seriously can't listen to this song anymore. It ruined the whole first day of my vacation because I kept comparing it to something happening in my life/stories and wondering, wondering. Though it's really quite bizarre how these guys manage to make such perfect theme songs for my characters... o_o |

One of the better songs out of MM. Makes me laugh every time they get to the middle though. Gackt can't pronounce 'depths' to save his life, the dear thing. Bless his schizophrenic heart. |

Yu~ki? Seriously? Hm.
I loved this song merely because of the music, then I read the translation. One of the only songs to date to made me cry uncontrolably. I was planning on performing a skit to this song at some point, but I never did go back to summer camp... *sigh*
Wondering what Aperfectprogression meant, but meh. |

Now, if one of them had been female, they totally would have. They said as much.
I doubt he's going insane. Someone eplained the whole album as a continuation from the end of the MM movie. I haven't seen it so I can't say how accurate that is, but I think this song, Le Ciel and Syunikiss are probably linked. |

Well, to give you an idea, "hitomi" is eyes/irises, "itoshii" is precious/darling. "subete" I believe is everything. "Yasashii" is gentle or kind, "dakishimeru" means to hold or hug, "hanasanai" is to not let go. So my preferred way to translate is "I'll hold you like I'll never let go." But 'you ni' is hard to translate. |

Yeah, I'm reasonably certain the girls are speaking english. I heard the phrase "I'll kill you" in there somewhere.
The first part of the chorus is my favorite part but, like all Japanese lyrics, it's difficult to translate right without any pronouns or anything. Something like "I wanted to become the sun. In the starving moon, I thrust a knife to [my] chest and play." The problem is, I have no clue where the phrases start or end, and there aren't any pronouns to figure out who is who. Argh. |
