George Harrison – Run of the Mill Lyrics

I think this song has several levels of meaning, but mostly, it's an expression of spiritual responsibility - an acknowledgment of the fact that only you can reach enlightenment. This song and this album connect us in ways that are truly awesome, in the archaic sense of the word. The Muse, through the artist, a gift for us. |

siggmaestro this isn't the place for proseltyzing.
Candle of Life is an amazing song, one of my favs from this album., which is my favorite of the Moodies. The production is jut remarkable. The whole album revolves around our connection to the universe, and this one. It's there for us to know, it's there for us to see... that is the core message of this one, to realize ourselves at the ultimate level. It talks to the sanctity of life, and the purpose for our existence. |

Pink Floyd – Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast Lyrics

Anyone who thinks that early Pink Floyd is not LSD influenced, is shall we say... a bit naive? LOL just watch Pompeii they are freaking wrecked throughout. And what about good old Syd? But then again anyone who has never taken LSD has no clue anyway. I'd advise trying it sometime before taking the dirt nap. |

Pink Floyd – Echoes Lyrics

This song is about an LSD trip...The beginning section is the onset of the trip; the instrumental section is clearly representing ego-loss; and finally, resolution. But of course all of it transcends almost every artistic creation we''ll hear in our lifetimes. We are so lucky to have had the opportunity to experience Pink Floyd and the other great artists from this period. |
