I just read a post from a person at the concert that received a glowband... "We were handed the wristbands on the way in, nobody had a clue why..it wasn't till half-way through Charlie Brown when the wristbands lit up that the whole crowd just connected with each other...a fantastic moment, i'll never forget it :))" very cool indeed.. |

I think the beginning of the song is talkng about someone like the devil and his helpers talking to you that it will be ok, just wait don't worry, we'll get married....and tempting you into believing in something that is not real just to get you trapped so death will have power over you. and the music is sweet and tempting.. And then all of a sudden the music gets powerful and truth comes to tell you not to follow death and all his friends, not to listen to the devil not to be tempted by all the bad stuff. No I don't wanna battle with the devil and I don't want to trust in what is really revenge. I don't want to follow death and all his friends. |

funny that someone would mention the Police. The very beginning both myself and my husband thought the voice sounded like Sting. And the writer of the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy Douglas Adams thought up the title for Pink Floyds' Division Bell. The Divison Bell had two sides to its story and so does this one.
