Donovan – Catch The Wind Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Donovan is underappriciated, and hes a great musician, but its a fact that he likes VERY young girls(like 13 or 14) he sings about it in many songs. |

Jefferson Airplane – White Rabbit Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Great song. Heard in history class today somthin about the sides of a certain war being called the "Reds" and the 'Whites". I think the song was written around the same time. The "Reds" had a woman leader who was violent against her people. The "Whites" had alot of government power and would present their treaties and such using fancy legal terms to confuse the simpler "Reds". I'm seeing some legit similarities. Also, the song could easily be based on Alice and Wonderland since every single lyric is a reference. Support shrooms and weed, the two organic spirtual drugs. Research shrooms, they have VERY minimal negative health effects. The FDA ranked psycobilin mushrooms as less harmful and dangerous as a regular dose of Asprin. Legit. |
The White Stripes – We're Going to Be Friends Lyrics | 16 years ago |
suprisingly great song. I think it is just about innocence or that we are growing up very fast, and if we can fondly look back on our carefree young school life then we should try to give your kids the same oppertunity |

Gorillaz – Clint Eastwood Lyrics | 16 years ago |
great song and i think it's about drugs heres my line by line take on it. I ain't happy. I'm feeling glad. - He has issues maybe bipolar I got sunshine in a bag. - he just got a bag of drugs to help with his problems I'm useless, but not for long. - He feels his life is a waste, but when he does drugs he feels good and that he fits in, which is a common effect The future is coming on. - Hes getting ready to do the drugs soon Finally someone let me out of my cage. Now time for me is nothing 'cause I'm counting no age. No, I couldn't be there. No, you shouldn't be scared. - Not quite sure but it could be that he is seeing someone talking to him, and that he is tripping from the drugs I'm good at repairs and I'm under each snare. Intangible, bet you didn't think, so I command you to. Panoramic view, look I'll make it all manageable. - I think this is about how when taking drugs everything slows down and it causes how to think about life and the world. Pick and choose, sit and lose, all you different crews. Chicks and dudes, who you think is really kicking tunes? Picture you getting down in a picture tube, Like you lit the fuse. About how people waste there life on things that don't matter, and how people are hostile toward each other and create problems for no reason. You think it's fictional? Mystical, maybe. Spiritual hero who appears in you to clear your view when you're too crazy. - Not sure at all but best guess is when he does drugs he sees a spiritual guide like a god or something similar Lifeless, to those the definition for what life is. Priceless to you because I put you on the hype shit. You like it? Gun smoking, righteous, with one token psychic Among those, possess you with one go. - Some people see their life as pointless, but other people try to make theirs good by trying to fit in with the sterotypes and live a fake life. The essence, the basics, without it, you make it. Allow me to make this childlike in nature. Rhythm, you have it or you don't, that's a fallacy. People forget the basic rhythm of life I'm in them, every sprouting tree, every child apiece, Every cloud at sea, you see with your eye. You see destruction and demise, corruption in disguise, From this fucking enterprise, now I'm sucking to your lies - His God-like person he sees helps him see the world like it really is. Through Russel, not his muscles, but percussion he provides With me as a guide. Y'all can see me now 'cause you don't see with your eye. You perceive with your mind. That's the inner. So I'm-a stick around with Russ and be a mentor, Bust a few rhymes so motherfuckers remember Where the thought is. I brought all this So you can survive when law is lawless. Feelings, sensations that you thought was dead. No squealing, remember that it's all in your head. - Making references to the band and other parts of the song, and its saying that people could see this God like character if they weren't so narrow minded and figured there eyes were the only way to see. People tell this man who has opened his minds eye and can see whats happening crazy because he's not like other people. Now that I have written this I think its more about a prophet man who sees and talks to a god-like character and is just disregarded as crazy. Yeah, don't think its about drugs. Well thats my take on this song! |
System of a Down – Cigaro Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I think I have a pretty good idea about the meaning of this one. First off, I agree with Renegrenade about the "cock" thing, that it's a masculine fight about if someone's dick is bigger than someone's then their better. Also that the lines "Can't you see I love my cock/ Can't you see you love my cock/Can't you see that we love my cock" is how America thinks that everyone thinks it is awesome and that it's better than everywhere else, when in fact we are just as bad if not worse. The "shit" part is again about how America/American's even think things that suck no matter what like shit, they think theirs is better still. "We're the regulators that de-regulate We're the animators that de-animate We're the propagators of all genocide Burning through the world's resources, then we turn and hide" This is somewhat referencing the Armenian Geonocide, but mostly about just "Fat Cat" leaders who make war and recklessly destroy the Earth, then hide behind legal defences and protection while everyone else suffers. The CIGARO part stands for the fact that big corprate bussinessmen sterotypicly smoke cigars. Well thats my 2 cents! |
System of a Down – Aerials Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I like LostProphets meaning. Awesome song, I love the bass line. |
The White Stripes – The Hardest Button to Button Lyrics | 16 years ago |
One thing I have to say is that Jack and Meg have already confirmed they are NOT brother and sister, and they have hinted at being divorced. This is why Meg's real name is Megan Martha White whereas Jack's real name is John Anthony Gillis. Also, for the song's meaning I am not sure, but I really agree with hppyniss and Cait the Great. Also this song is great and has a scary morbid feel to it. Yeah. |
Foo Fighters – The Pretender Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i strongly belive this song is about non conformity to the way society says we should look and act. The band represents the rebels and when they start playing a riot officer stands to challange him and silence these new ideas. When they start gaining momentum more challange them because they are freely speaking. They are afraid they will put into peoples minds new ideas and they will cease to be controlled and conformed. When they charge it is too late and they are wiped out by the red which symbolizes revolution. |
Angels and Airwaves – Everything's Magic Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Donovan – Mellow Yellow Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I do not really know what it means but, there is a chemical in bananas that when cooked and prepared a certain way gets you high. the reason people thinks its fake is beacuse alot of people do not know how to make it or that takes like 60 pounds.also about the 14 part. I love his music but alot of his songs are about him and his liking for young young girls |
