Great song.. love the trumpets... lyrics are quite self-explanatory, like a lot of Postcards From A Young Man, it's about looking at your personal past. I can imagine Nicky writing this when he was feeling old but still wanting to jump about :) |

As a lapsed catholic myself, I really undersand the song.
You can't really go through life without "sinning" - this song gives catholism a kick up the arse. I love it. |

The title could be "inspired" by the Conservative advert campaign during the late 1970s, the slogan was "Labour's Not Working" and showed a long dole queue. The song could be about being unemployed. |

This reminds me of my ex-girlfriend. We met on a group that used to meet on Thursdays, and also she was born on a Thursday.
We used to play Omikron: The Nomad Soul together, just to get to this song.
I bought the song but I threw it away when we split. I remember it fondly nowadays, though. |
