Let me start off by saying that I don't know why people don't know about Alter Bridge. All aspects of the band are solid. Drums are clean and clear, Bass is deep and always on cue, Guitar is heart felt and face melting, and Vocals impeccable and full of emotion. Alter Bridge as a whole... the most melodically focused and in tune band out there right now. About this song, it is the heaviest song on this album, agreed. It is however dwarfed by the grungy, deep, mean, but clean sound of Blackbird. Which is was badas* album. AB comes to Minneapolis this time around on 11/15/07 just a few days away. I await the amazing melodic rock, as after that concert I can finally die a happy man. :-D |
