Snow Patrol – If I'd Found The Right Words To Say Lyrics

depression? there's an interview with gary lightbody [vocals] in the april issue of Q magazine, and he talks about sadness and that, so i think maybe he has a lover, or a person really close to him that has depression, but he cares about her so much he's gonna be there for her for the rest of their lives. but she has turned into a "ghost" of her former self, and she's only happy for a little while, but to him that's worth everything... |

i think its heroin addiction, because the "bruises up my arms" refer to the track marks addicts get from injecting, and the lines "living inside of a dream" seem to mean that numbness that comes with drugs. he's lost and he doesn't know if he should tell someone, but he doesn't even know who he is. |

fantastic song, you don't even have to relate it to romeo & juliet either... its beautiful even just as a love song between people that "can only wait" to be pulled apart *tear* [loving this song] xx |

Jane's Addiction – Suffer Some Lyrics

i thought the line "Was in the pink now she's in the blue" could mean maybe a transgender person... (stereotypically blue for boys/pink for girls) because that could be why they were called "freak" and it would fit in with the suffering throughout the whole song too... |

i thought the line about "... don't go blaming your knowledge on some fruit you ate" was a reference to Adam and Eve in the garden of eden and how they became like gods "knowing good and evil".
just my take on that line |
