im sure most people who would look up these lyrics have seen the music video.. and it shows the song perfectly.. if you haven't seen it- it is about abuse. the song is written as the daughter of an abusive father. and her mother ends up killing both herself and her husband to end the abuse. |

this song doesnt really need a spot on 'songmeanings.com' it's pretty obvious what it's about.. but it's still a very good song that totally explains the feelings of a girl who got dumped and 'quickly replaced' by a man who she was in love with. .. happened to me! ): but it's a raw, emotional song. it's great |

at first i just thought she left.. but after listening to it tonight- i think that she killed herself.. the line 'youre crazy for believing you'll ever leave the ground' and that 'only angels know how to fly' make me think that she jumped from the window. often times, sadly, the only 'out' from abusive relationships is suicide.. because there is a note and everything i really do believe it was suicide. |
