This song means so much to me. It's probably my favorite off the album. I think maybe its about two people in a realationship that are very attracted to each other and love each other but bring out the worst sides in one another, maybe because of issues that remind them of home "In the way, in the way that we’re constantly moving

I think its about two people who deeply love each other and have been great friends but can't work it out because both of them are at very different places in there lives. The sun is setting on their relationship. The freedom is the freedom from all of the different stress in their lives. Maybe she's yonger than him, she has college or a future ahead of her where as he is older and ready for marriage. |

Well sort of what I took from this song was maybe its about a guy who got into a relationship with a girl he really wanted to be with but once he was with her it wasn't like what he thought it would be. Maybe she just wants to be physical and he wants a real relationship "I do, I don't need you like you think" , It's not the quanity that bothers me

another thing I got from the song is the idea of 20/20 vision and looking at our world today, kind of a hindsight thing maybe. Or maybe the idea of how you don't know what the problem is until you go into surgery?
whatever the meaning its a great song and I think a lot can be applied to it. |
