when i first heard this song my first impression was that this screams metallica while still having their own unique sound. Personally reminds me of sanitarium by metallica. But thats just me. As for the song, the meaning can be interpreted about a few things really. The first verse sounds like hes dealing with the death of a close loved one Heavens waiting for you, Just close your eyes and say goodbye, Hearing your pulse go on and on and on, I Live my life in misery, I'd sacrifice this world to hold you, No Breath left inside of me, Shattered glass keeps falling, Say goodnight, Just sleep tight, Say goodnight Now in the second verse when he says "your face reflects from our babies eyes" You get a very emotional vibe of losing someone you love and gaining someone new at the same to. Sounds like hes just overwelmed with all sorts of heavy emotions |

| This song really hits home for i know what its like to feel absolutely pitiful. This guy just cant do anything right from making eggs, to getting to work on time to getting a girl he likes at work to even notice him. Hes got nothing to live for. He takes a large amount of drugs just to numb the pain making him feel more pitiful. He says he would buy heroin if he could just afford it so its obvious he has no concern about his overall health. First of all how are you going to compare a singer of a band that has only one of the original members while aerosmith has had almost 20 albums and have survived since the early 70's. Second of all how are you going to say steven tyler sucks? Mama Kin, Dream on, Same old song and dance, Seaons of wither, Toys in the attic, uncle salty, walk this way, sweet emotion, no more no more, back in the saddle, last child, nobodys fault, draw the line, kings and queens... these are just to name the classics... Without Aerosmith do you have any idea how many bands wouldnt of made the same impact on the rock world. Van Halen did quite a few aerosmith covers early in their career, where would they be without aerosmith, where would tesla be without aerosmith, dude where would guns n roses be without aerosmith and just so you know as much as i respect axl rose, steven tyler did a much better singing this song this axl. | |

First of all they were very much Led Zeppelin influenced and when is saw them live they played 3 zeppelin classics, I'm Leaving You, What is and what should never be and stairway to heaven. What glam band had the balls to play stairway to heaven, absolutely none. honestly i hope someone can prove me wrong. so instead of lumping these guys with crappy bands like poison, warrant, ect put em where they belong with guns n roses, tesla, motley crue and cinderella. As happy as this song sounds, i think its about a much deeper topic then just being in love. i first thought this after really listening to the bridge "i feel so lonely and i know im not the only one, to ever feel this way, i love you so much that i think im going insane" this song seems to be about heartbreak or possibly a death of a loved one i could be wrong but give me some imput |
