Creed – Overcome Lyrics | 13 years ago |
"Creed is also ALter Bridge"!... man, could you be anymore far from the road?! You need to actually LISTEN to AB before making such a statement. |
Karnivool – C.O.T.E. Lyrics | 13 years ago |
This song is amazing... |
Alter Bridge – Slip To The Void Lyrics | 13 years ago |
^ Amen!... this song is killer when played live, the most progressive song Alter Bridge have done period. |
Alter Bridge – Show Me A Sign Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Wow, no comment?! This is one of the best songs on the record. i admit it's hard to get on with at first, but once you connect, it won't leave you for days.. if you like moody & dark themes_Opeth-wise_ this one is a must listen... amazing guitar solo by Mark as usual. |
Alter Bridge – I Know It Hurts Lyrics | 13 years ago |
Catchiest song when you first hear the album... Great great arrangement |
Alter Bridge – Isolation Lyrics | 13 years ago |
my vote would be either Slip To The Void or Shoe Me A Sign, but it's Alter Bridge with another masterpiece, there's just too many incredible songs to choose from. |
Alter Bridge – Home Lyrics | 13 years ago |
my favorite b-side of the new album. it could easily find its place in the original line up of the track list. |
Alter Bridge – Ghost Of Days Gone By Lyrics | 13 years ago |
indeed it's one of the catchiest themes on the record.. i love the idea of how it goes from clean U2-style melodies to dark and moody atmosphere in the bridge... there's some talk about it being the second single of AB III, i hope so. |
Alter Bridge – Fallout Lyrics | 13 years ago |
One of my favorites from AB III. Great intro and excellent solo by Mark, Passionate singing by Mylesh.. Also the meaning seems obvious as the "losing faith and innocence" theme of the album applies to this song perfectly. |
The Mayfield Four – White Flag Lyrics | 14 years ago |
one of the best, most inspirational and yet most underrated songs ever written |
Slash – Back from Cali Lyrics | 14 years ago |
this song should be heard by everyone... it's simply amazing |
The Airborne Toxic Event – Neda Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This song is so inspirational and beautiful, it's a story about Neda Agha-Soltan.. Please watch this, it's self explanatory http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXN_yCSbUYk |
Slash – Promise Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This song is so sexy! |
Slash – Starlight Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Best song on the record, without a doubt.. Myles Kennedy fuckin' rules |
Alter Bridge – The End Is Here Lyrics | 14 years ago |
That's what i said, Wind-Up wanted back Creed, they did the music they wanted, even if it would cost much less arenas.. I'm glad it turned out this way, They've done their part in reviving rock. |
Alice in Chains – Private Hell Lyrics | 14 years ago |
I love the lyrics so much.. So beautiful |
Creed – Time Lyrics | 14 years ago |
2nd comment?! I couldn't believe that someday Creed would be underrated, but now they are!.... Anyway, i love this song |
Dream Theater – Wither Lyrics | 14 years ago |
Are you kidding me?! The album just starts after this.. The best of times and The count of tuscany are both masterpieces |
Creed – Full Circle Lyrics | 14 years ago |
This is the best Creed song so far... |
Staind – Can't Believe Lyrics | 15 years ago |
This song is absolutely amazing! I like both versions but the original is more emotional IMO. Staind is fucking amazing! |
Soggy Bottom Boys – I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow Lyrics | 16 years ago |
this song is superb. love it so much! the movie is a masterpiece. i also like the credit song "In the Big Rock Candy Mountains"!! "Ain't this a geographical oddity! Two weeks from everywhere!!!" |
Alter Bridge – Watch Over You Lyrics | 16 years ago |
the band themselves confirmed that it's about a friend trapped in drug addiction. some notions: "How can you love someone not yourself?" how can u tell that u care for anyone despite of all the damages u suffer to yourself. u can't love anybody unless you love yourself firstly. "And when I'm gone who will break your fall And who will you blame? I can't go on let you loose it all Its more then I can take Who'll ease your pain Ease your pain?" i think it's pretty obvious with that standpoint. |
Queens of the Stone Age – Make It Wit Chu Lyrics | 16 years ago |
this song is fantastic. Queens deserve more! |
The Bravery – Believe Lyrics | 16 years ago |
the way he sings this song remembers me of nirvana's cover of "Plateau" in Unplugged. the lines before the choruses goes perfectly with: Many a hand has scaled the grand old face of the plateau Some belong to strangers and some to folks you know ... |
Alter Bridge – The End Is Here Lyrics | 16 years ago |
they left Wind-Up because of their horrible promoting and of course desire to get back Creed. Considering that it's from "One Day Remains", it easily can't be. but if it had been on "Blackbird" it would make sense! |
Alter Bridge – Watch Over You Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Blackbird. they planning to shoot a video for this song soon. can't wait! and "platniumstatus" is pretty right about the meaning. |
Alter Bridge – Blackbird Lyrics | 16 years ago |
agreed! I will edit it. thx. |
Alter Bridge – Blackbird Lyrics | 16 years ago |
agreed! I will edit it. thx. |
Alter Bridge – The Damage Done Lyrics | 16 years ago |
well! maybe this song is appeared on the album as a bonus track, but it's better than almost all of the songs we hear on the radio nowadays. does anyone else think the solo is a bit like metallica's Fade to Black? |
Puddle of Mudd – Famous Lyrics | 16 years ago |
so fuckin' ordinary |
Alter Bridge – Wayward One Lyrics | 16 years ago |
they don't BELIEVE alter bridge is christian but i think it's like a game for guys to attach religious thing to a band. specially when it consists three member of creed. it starts with a song which usually has the word "god", "heaven" or "hell". some guys interpret it as a christianity because it's the easiest thing for them after drugs and addiction of course! then other guys admit it without even thinkin' a little bit about it and so it begins. look at "One Day Remains" songs for example. it's really strange how every song mean religious to some guys. personally i didn't like creed and i don't care if they were christian but Alter Bridge definitely are not. it's true somehow what you said but i don't know why you mentioned it here? i think Wayward One is about rape and taking rights with violence. it obviously doesn't have any chance for christian meaning! |
Foo Fighters – Come Alive Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Best of the album |
Stereophonics – It Means Nothing Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I love this song. despite of it's simplicity, it catches you every time you listen to it. |
Alter Bridge – Blackbird Lyrics | 16 years ago |
dinosaurs4breakfast, i think i know what you mean. there was time ago that i used to regret like this, but i don't care anymore. in fact i like the idea of being underrated! you know it's like you got your favorite band just for yourself. although i promise if they continue they career for just 10 years more, their name would be eternal, forever. who gives a shit about MCR?! they can say they're "emo" or any-fucking-thing else. as you said there are many songs with emotions you'll never forget. if you like these kind of songs you should really listen to Tool's "10000 days". it's about 11 minutes and it's also about death with greatest lyrics i've ever, i mean ever, heard in my whole life. "10,000 days" and "Blackbird" are my favorite songs of this type. now someone want to call it "emo!!!", why should i care? you know what i mean. |
Alter Bridge – White Knuckles Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I think "Blackbird" is kind of a concept album. rise against all injustices, taking our rights in life and hope for better living are the concepts of most of its songs and "White Knuckles" got it all. it's absolutely my favorite song of Blackbird these days; and man, what a killing guitar riff! it has also awesome sub-layer guitar work you may not notice in the first times so it's getting better every time you listen to it. |
Alter Bridge – Come To Life Lyrics | 16 years ago |
it's one of my favorites too. i've heard it before the album was released and it was awesome. And btw Chris Cornell sucks. he ruined two great band (Soundgarden & Audioslave) for his selfishness. he could be a "pop artist" long ago before destroying them and then express "musical differences" as his porpuse. this is so pathetic and i don't buy that story for a sec. I mean if he wanted to cover MJ songs, why should he even put himself in rock world? I'm sure he is suffering from Narcism. |
Chris Cornell – Billie Jean (Michael Jackson cover) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
chris cornell is a bitch. he ruined two great band for his self-indulgence, for what he called "Musical Differences". Bullshit! and now he covering MJ. Great! Go on Chris! |
Alter Bridge – Coming Home Lyrics | 16 years ago |
i think it's about someone who becomes ready for his death in a night, how he can see the real truth of everything, all the opportunities he has lost in his life and now how he sees the afterlife the place he's really belong, his real home. i just wish i could say in words how much i love this song. the chorus is so..so..amazing with unbelievable guitar work. in fact the new album is so amazing that i can't really hope for one specific track to be a single, But this song is the blazing star of the album, the comet. i hope it to be so. *> |
Alter Bridge – Ties That Bind Lyrics | 16 years ago |
it makes a lot of sense the Wind-up thing. yeah, when i got "One Day Remains" and listened to all of its songs, i couldn't do anything but a vast regret for their wasted talent. they're probably the most talented musicians i've ever seen (alongside Dream Theater guys). yes, it's clear their former label wanted to keep them in their Creedish style (because of their first single). open your eyes is a really great song but for the ones who have listened to entire album it's not satisfying at all. the album is full of great guitar tracks, killing riffs and brilliant solos that i can easily name it one of my favorite rock albums of all time. but with choosing "Open Your Eyes" for first single by Wind-up, every guy thought thats another Creed because of it's similarity to some of their songs. so they changed the record label to be what they really want. "Blackbird" is such a great and heavy album that you can simply call it "Metal" Album. no one can now dare to call them Creed. it could be just Magic, that someone like me who don't give a hell about creed is now call Alter Bridge one of his fav band of all time. i think this should be a single. god, this song f**kin' Rocks. it's something like metalingus or one day remains. Alter Bridge please keep going....Forever. Even if i'm your only fan. |
Muse – Supermassive Black Hole Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Jesus fuckin' christ! i've seen so many queer comments but...fuck, i don't know what to say. what a label: gay themed song?! i think you've watched too much brokeback mountain, though they were not gay. |
Muse – Knights of Cydonia Lyrics | 16 years ago |
it has a social-political metaphor for christ's sake not religious one, jagu_singh. he's telling people who suffers from injustice not to be silent. he encourages us to rise against corruption. I'll show you a God falls asleep on the job: despite of all this crime and unfairnesses, the poor grow daily in poverty and rich guys grow in wealth, politicians take advantage of ordinary people for their own benefits. god sees all these things and doesn't do anything. How can we win when fools can be kings?: pretty clear from both views. Don't waste your time or time will waste you: as i said. don't expect for change and history, YOU are the people who make history so rise against injustice. It's a masterpeice. Muse seems to be one the fewest bands of our decade having this really amazing guitar stuffs. you know, every year getting worse in music but i'm glad they're improving it. personaly i haven't listened to one of their songs that i dislike. Black holes and revelation is probably the best album of 2006 alongside some others (not too many)! PJ, Tool |
Travis – Big Chair Lyrics | 17 years ago |
I simply believe that this song is the best of the new album. it grows on me too fast. |
Dream Theater – Constant Motion Lyrics | 17 years ago |
are you kidding? they never can touch Dream Theater. if any band should be influence other its DT |
The Smashing Pumpkins – Tarantula Lyrics | 17 years ago |
i think this song is simply can be a point for backing to Grunge. i'm not one of those who die for grunge or kurt cobain but i've really become tired of these rockstar wanna bees. this song really rocks. hoping for the best for them |
Thom Yorke – Analyse Lyrics | 17 years ago |
yeah this song was on The Prestige. i know this is songmeanings but this movie is best of all time and i know christopher nolan's love for radiohead and thom yorke. as for song, it's so amazing with deep meanings |
Travis – Closer Lyrics | 17 years ago |
God just three comments yet!!! this is one of the best songs they've ever written. god i was missed Travis, thank for coming back. Chorus is really amazing. |
Alter Bridge – Find The Real Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Fuck!!!! when i said creed is better than pearl jam?!!!! i suppose i was drunk or something. no fucking way creed was shit, but alter bridge really rocks. |
Red Hot Chili Peppers – Tell Me Baby Lyrics | 17 years ago |
peppers are really freaking me out when all of their songs can be find in their pervious albums. and for this song, just listen to "Can't stop" from "By the way |
Red Hot Chili Peppers – Desecration Smile Lyrics | 17 years ago |
it's suonds like a Cover when i first listened to it, it's not too strange because all pepper's songs are sound the same |
Travis – Re-Offender Lyrics | 17 years ago |
a simple fact about this song is that musically it's the best travis song i think, but lyrically ain't as the others |
