I think this song is more about the feeling you get when listening to a song especially one that you can relate to. I think the salty eyes refers to the fact that you're crying because either you've just gone through something like a breakup and the song is a sort of comfort for you or it just feels that good you are brought to tears(I know certain songs do that me for me). It brings back memories, it makes you feel like the person is singing this song just for you. I think the part about the walls and ceiling not giving is about how you are either blasting the music so loud the foundation around you could give in or the fact that you are singing at the top of your longs, maybe even both. Anyway this song is lovely, very simple but it is lovely just the same. I love his voice, it doesn't sound too strained like most people out today, |

Why can't people just use music what it was intended for. It was meant for people to enjoy and get up. So what if they're not stoping world hunger and fighting for peace, who the hell cares. Some bands are just too serious and who needs that. Plus I don't need any music magazine telling me what I should like and what I shouldn't like. I heard the Arctic Monkeys and that was the end of it. Why does everyone always bring up the cliche bands and artist when they put other bands down. Please get over yourselves there is no set standard for music. Just shut up and listen! |
