Me and my friend Martin had a weird moment where he told me every time he hears this song he thinks of some crazy adventure in the woods, gone all wrong and I couldn't believe it because that's what I always heard. When I hear this song it reminds me of a small group of people in the forest and their raft gets a leak or a bear eats all their food and suddenly they're screwed and trying to just get home alive.

Garbage – I Think I'm Paranoid Lyrics

To me this song is about all the times I've acted snotty towards a guy ("you can't look but you can't touch") but then at some point was humbled and suddenly realized I really wanted him ("bend me,break me anyway you need me all i want is you..") Like that tug and pull between playing hard-to-get and then letting go and showing how in love and obsessed you really are. This is my favourite Garbage song. The chord changes are insane.

I don't think this is about a relationship at all. This song feels like when you've given up and need something to 'pick you off the floor' whether it's some stranger in a bar that you don't give a s*** about, or drugs. When you've done everything you can do but you just give up and all you can do is hope that something will come along to save you from completely empty feeling. I also think it's about that glorious moment when you find that temporary fix, whether it's drugs or a kiss. The instrumental part kinda expresses that much.

Radiohead – A Wolf at the Door (It Girl. Rag Doll) Lyrics	19 years ago
In a way I agree with OpiumForThePeople. You can read all the political meanings you want into a song but in the end it's about very basic emotions. Imagine there's a wolf at your door trying to take your children, it's like the worst nightmare ever (with really beautiful chords). This is one of the few Radiohead songs that makes me cry. So pure and gutwrenching.
