| remember when kurt said that people are stupid for thinking that an entire song is about himself, just because he put one or two details in it about himself? well, i think that A LOT of his songs were about him even though he denied it. this song could possibly be about how he was annoyed with everyone thinking he was some kind of a master writer and acting like he was some sort of a god, hence: "i'm too busy acting like i'm not naive/ i've seen it all/ i was here first". and maybe, "if you ever need anything please don't/ hesitate to ask someone else first" was about him feeling like he really wasn't a genius or as godlike as everyone thought he was. i don't know, that's just my interpretation. what do you all think of it? | |
