well, i dont think this song needs such deep annylizing. first, the real verse is I know a room of musical tunes, Some rhyme, some ching, most of them are clockwork, Lets go into the other room and make them work. yeah. but i read somwhere this was about syd and his girlfriend at the time, its jjust a really sweet song! he really loves her, but he dosnt have much to offer, but he will give her all he can. the cloak part is sort of like he'll agree with her on anything. i dont think he was really tripped out, syd just had a really quirky child-like and fun writing style. i love this song ^_^ |

| i love this song. it makes me happy, its sorta creepy though. i love how syd barrett has this carefree childhood feel to his songs. He seems to have thing for eiderdowns though, ive heard him mention them in other songs. | |
