KMFDM – Help Us/Save Us/Take Us Away Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is amazing, so naturally there are no comments. |
Atreyu – Doomsday Lyrics | 16 years ago |
^ Agree 100% percent. I'm not mad about the new album though. Whenever I like a band, their next album usually sucks. So picture my amazement when after the awesome album The Curse I get A Death Grip on Yesterday which, shockingly, is really, really good. Given my track record, Atreyu never should've had another good album after The Curse. The fact that they did makes up for this disappointing effort. |
Katatonia – The Future Of Speech Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Best song by Katatonia that I've heard. I love the line "They bless me with their fingers crossed." To me, that's when people you know say they want you to succeed but really don't because they can't accomplish anything (like quit smoking, etc). |
Living Colour – Type Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Ahh Living Colour, one of the best bands people don't listen to. |
Fear Factory – 0-0 (Where Evil Dwells) Lyrics | 16 years ago |
Or instead of going to some dumb Geocities site you can go to this new site "Wikipedia." Another great FF song. |
Fear Factory – Soulwound Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song is amazing. Not only is it a mere bonus track but there are no comments. I'll never understand the logic of some people. |
Third Eye Blind – Misfits Lyrics | 16 years ago |
This song only has 12 comments? It's probably in my top ten favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. |
Tenacious D – Kickapoo Lyrics | 17 years ago |
"I hear you Brigham Jaybles," What the hell is wrong with you? Sorry if that sounded harsh. |
The Smiths – Shoplifters of the World Unite Lyrics | 17 years ago |
adamndirtyshame's explanation sounds the most reasonable. That doesn't mean The Smiths don't love to slide in literary and homosexual references either though. So I think both sides are more or less correct. |
The Smiths – William, It Was Really Nothing Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Love this song. It hooked me along with How Soon is Now. |
In Flames – Artifacts Of The Black Rain Lyrics | 17 years ago |
Best guitar evar. |

The "splatting of its yellow flesh! I am the herald of light," is hands down the best part of the song. |
Horse the Band – Cutsman Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Rich, you idiot, correcting a spelling mistake is very different from mispelling a movie title and missing the year by 4 years. DOn't be so Goddamn defensive. |
The Birthday Massacre – Video Kid Lyrics | 18 years ago |
This song rules. |
Blindside – Follow You Down Lyrics | 18 years ago |
Wow, only two comments on arguably the best Blindside song. Okaaaaay. |

The Offspring – Nitro (Youth Energy) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
So if you understand me, And if you feel the same. Then you will know what Nitro means... You'll live like there is no tomorrow... This song is currently my anthem. I've been all about youth energy lately. |
Atreyu – This Flesh a Tomb Lyrics | 19 years ago |
After listening to the rest of the songs on the Curse ad naseum this one is now my favorite. I don't care for the whole vampire imagery or themes but Atreyu is too damn good to let that bother me. |
Caliban – The Seventh Soul Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Great song. |
Children of Bodom – Angels Don't Kill Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This song is Satan's personal theme music. |
Children of Bodom – Angels Don't Kill Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This song is Satan's personal theme music. |
Godsmack – Running Blind Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Love the lyrics: "Searching for nothing Wondering if I’ll change I’m trying everything But everything still stays the same" I love Alice in Chains, but as long as the song's good, big deal. |
Gorillaz – Latin Simone (Que Pasa Contigo) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
"uh, pharmicopia..check your facts first, man. This is the english version of the song (featured on the album, G-Sides), and not the transladed latin version. This version is in english, as i said, and it is clear that these lyrics are correct." Yep, pwned. |
Abandoned Pools – Start Over Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This song is beautiful. "Can we start over? It's over" is like the saddest thing I've ever heard. Great song, great band, great message. |
Massive Attack – Better Things Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Gorgeously written and sung song about breaking up. |
CKY – Bran's Freestyle Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Some of those lyrics are wrong, for example, it's clearly "gwailo" not wai-lo for obvious reasons...well, maybe not so obvious to you. |
Chevelle – Vitamin R (Leading Us Along) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
^ WTF? This song is orgasmic |
Duran Duran – Skin Trade Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Another song about heroin? |
Depeche Mode – Halo Lyrics | 19 years ago |
The first three lines alone make this song an instant classic. |
Depeche Mode – Blasphemous Rumours Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Top ten songs about suicide. This would be on the list. |
Soilwork – No More Angels Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This is my fav song by them too. Fucking wonderful. |

The Dandy Warhols – You Were The Last High Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Excellent song, those cheesy comments notwithstanding. |
Deftones – Change (In the House of Flies) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
This may be redundant, but here's my read: "I watched you change Into a fly I looked away You were on fire I watched a change in you It's like you never had wings And you feel so alive I've watched you change" A guy and, let's say a friend (she's a girl in my read but if she's a guy, that doesn't change anything) are friends and they aren't good people. The guy notices his friend becoming a good person (possibly finding religion, which supports the cross reference). "I took you home Set you on the glass I pulled off your wings Then I laughed I watched a change in you It's like you never had words Now you feel so alive I watched you change" The guy gets pissed or jealous and drags the friend back down with him into sin or whatever. What's worse he enjoys doing it. "I look at the cross And I look away Give you the gun Blow me away I watched a change in you It's like you never had words Now you feel so alive I've watched you change And you feel alive You feel alive (2x) I've watched you change It's like you never had..." Here's where it gets sketchy for me. This part is very vague. I currently think either: A) Their bad lifestyles caused the friend to get killed/commit suicide. The guy looks at the cross which reminds him of his friend. He commits suicide but in his head his friend is killing him and they're "even." B) This is the ironic twist ending. The guy who turned his friend bad somehow finds religion or redemption, but his friend wants to take similar action like the guy did earlier in the song. Instead of making the guy bad again, he simply kills him (either because the guy won't turn bad again or because he wants revenge for ruining his life). Another thing I've been toying with, and this could be completely bunk) is that there are three "changes" in the song (the chorus parts). The first verse change is the guy noticing the friend turning good. The second verse change is the guy turning the friend bad again. The third verse change is the end of their friendship where, according to my two interpretations: A) The change is his friend's death or B) The end of their friendship via the friend killing the guy. Hope that made sense. |
Atreyu – Tulips Are Better Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Awww, how dare you. I've seen FATA and Atreyu both live, sure Atreyu was much better but FATA still rocked the house. |
Atreyu – Five Vicodin Chased with a Shot of Clarity Lyrics | 19 years ago |
I hadn't heard of them until I saw them play. They blew me away. Now I'm a huge fan. |

Massive Attack – Inertia Creeps Lyrics | 19 years ago |
Wow Phrogex, pretentious much? Be your comments valid or not, you don't have to be so hostile. And this song is among the best Mezzanine has to offer. |
