Especially when you're comparing Iron Maiden to System of a Down. Obviously, you don't know shit about music. I especially hate it when people start flaming others about religions, like your little "God" rant there, SOADRULES. Keep your god damn opinions to yourself. Anyways...I love this song! This was the songs that got me into Maiden, along with Run to the Hills. Very catchy, too. I sometimes catch myself screaming 666 along with the chorus. I especially love Bruce's badass vocals! | to me, this song is based off of Aliester Crowley's "The Abyss". which is a fucking awesome book. The so-called abyss symbolizes the gap between your self and non-self. you can cross the abyss, and become more wise and powerful than you can imagine. should you fail, however, you fall into the pit for all eternity, as "the Beast" internally eats away your mind and basically go insane. which is where the "Close your eyes, Look deep in your soul, Step outside yourself, And let your mind go.
