I live in Leeds, in West Yorkshire, UK. Leeds United is the name of our football team. I've never seen them wear black and yellow, clydex, however, blue and yellow sometimes, yes. I would love to know what this means, actually. It's screwing me up trying to figure it out.

They look like just another Aiden (worthless, talentless, AFI-wannabe drivel!) , and yet behold they actually have talent! There's just something that tiny bit different about I Am Ghost that I love. Maybe it's 'cause they seem to have shards of hope in their heavily-layered songs rather than depression and sorrow over death. Even Our Friend Lazarus Sleeps wreaks of "she's gone to a better place" rather than "I will join her in blood-drenched darkness, oh my lost beloved" blah blah blah. Love it. |

This a good song, considering it's my My Chemical Toilet. Black Parade was surprising for me in that I actually don't entirely hate it - 'cause it's practically entirely inspired by Queen's A Night at the Opera, which can be heard in Welcome to the Black Parade mostly. Even the song title is reminiscent of a Queen song called The March of the Black Queen. |

Once again, processed shite aimed at whiny prepubescents manages to butcher a brutal classic. This song was so much better when left to Walk Among Us, but no, Gerard Way, in all his mighty idiocy, manages to kill what once was something only the feared enjoy. Someone actually had the nuts to say "MCR are the Misfits of the 21st Century". I hope he has no nuts left.

I'd read somewhere that 37mm is the width of celluloid, and in reference to STS, 37 is a divine number. I believe this song is about how Davey is trying to be a saviour to those who ask for help, like fans shrieking "MARRY ME" or something of that ilk LOL. His fame has put him in a predicament and given him a responsiblity he didn't ask for. |

My love for AFI was Sing the Sorrow-ignited, then I heart every other album during a stone-fest at my friend's house and bought them all. Now I'm proud to say I'm an AVID AFI fan and respect their changes in musical style... although myfriendoak is right, Black Sails anyday.
But I do still love Decemberunderground. I've always been a fan of industrial, and Davey's songwriting is as deep as ever IMO. Just keep the emos away and it's perfect!
ANYWAY, this song, I believe, is about someone feeling they have something missing in their life they want. The Missing Frame: take away the R and it makes FAME, which was a huge part of Sing the Sorrow's story. Link it to 37mm - 37, 337, etc., all the divine numbers from STS and Clandestine. AND 37mm is the width of celluloid. Film. FAME. This song is about how much the main character wants recognition, even from the object of his desires to which he sings. |
