This song sums up everything it possibly could about the situation I am in now. Its like, I'm here waiting for the moment that he finally tells me how he feels and tells me he wants to be with me (I can tell he does partly). "Hopelessly" but without real hope, I will love him always. "but the moment never comes" which is why i know he will never come out and say it because its too late, hes graduating college and im just a lowly freshman. |

| I see the possibility of it being about him waiting for a girl to meet him, but I don't think it's about him just being at the wrong place to meet her. I think the part "waiting on the wrong block" is DEFINITELY metaphorical.
