Wow this song is kind of an ignorant song, completely disregarding customs of the Middle East and celebrating murders....not a good patriot song and definately not what america stands for. I like Charlie Daniels Band but not this song...it's disappointing |

This is song, to me is one of my favorite country songs by far. When I hear this song, tears come to my eyes. The person I was planning on spending the rest of my life with is with someone else. I broke up with her because I was going to college and I thought oh yay, girls and opportunitied galore. So I shut out my love for her and she waited around for 8 long months for me. I feel like such an fool because now that she is with someone else, I wish I had her back. She was the most beautiful perfect girl I could ask for and I screwed it up. I honestly think I am now feeling the pain she felt because God is teaching me a lesson. I know I will have her back someday because that's the way it's supposed to be. I'm 19 years old, and I do know what love is. Anyone who says otherwise is so wrong. So until that day when she is mine again, I will sit here in pain and despair, waiting for my one and only love to come back into my life. |

This is is awesome. A friend showed it to me and it totally explained the situation I am in right now. I have been putting my girlfriend through a lot; I told her that I don't think we should be together anymore, but then I think that I want her back. Throughout this whole experience I have been in a sense very "cold" to her feelings. I was very selfish, and I am sorry for the way I am sometimes. |
