I am going to agree with rooibos on this one. The song is about him going back to that love of his life. And the second stanza is about how he is ready to give up everything for this women and make her his forever. The line about how he sees his friend who just had a kid and his voice is somehow different. And in my opinion the last stanza is the one of the most beautiful things i have heard. |

The story goes that they bob and harrison were doing some sort of songs together and tom was with orbison and he had left his guitar with harrison.
