| This seems to be a pretty generic "I'm gonna blow you away with my rhymes" song, which is kind of ironic seeing how they're talking down the generic rap shit, while rapping generic shit. Either way, it's a decent song to bump to, and something that isn't played 100 times a week. | |

I love this song for it's slow and remorseful qualities. Aside from it's wonderful lyrics the fact that Hoobastank leaned away from the screaming tones of similar songs by other artists is a great quality. However, the song is fairly straight forward. Regrettful of past failures and personal faults he is reaching towards his one. |

To me this is a song about a near impossible relationship. One in which the intent is pure but the feeling non-existant, or not 'right' for lack of a more distinct word. "It seems we meet in the spaces in between" says to me that they agree on nothing, "Another day I call and never speak" says that the relationship is uncomfortable. It's a perfect song for those relationships that we wish worked but just don't. |
