I challenge ANYONE to a marijuana based arguement. yea, he likes to smoke pot. Im a christian and i like to smoke pot. Whats the big deal deal? Because its illegal to smoke pot? Oh my god, how many times has the average teen been drunk, before the legal date? almost every weekend of his life. And the fact that it burns brains cells, give me a fuckin break, alcohol burns just as much, if not more, and if u abuse anything it will become a problem but if u use it normally, it will help u along in life by providing insites u would have never had elsewere. I really dont know what its about but im sure it has something in reference the the book " A brave new world" by aldous huxley about a society in the future which is basically a utopia with no feelings or emotions or anything. When something bad happens to people, they take a mescaline/ex like pill to relive any pain or unhappiness they may have. Thats what soma is, but i dont know how it relates to the song. This song is about dyslexia. In the early 90's this disorder wasnt well known and DAUGHTER is addressing the issue. "Mother reads aloud, child tries to understand, tries to make her proud." Her mother just blames her daughter's problems on a lack of will when instead it is something she cant help. She tries to please her mother but she cant and she doesnt feel fit to be called her daughter.
