Chester's voice is so damn hot! I love the way he sings! ANd what's great is that he has such a wide range of talent: he can scream and then he can really sing. This song always made me think of a kid who has to live on the streets or something. Like maybe his parents died and he was mad at them the last time he saw them or something. That's probably not what LP had in mind, but that's what my abstract mind is telling me. I also like what badbobby said (way back on page one) about even if you have a lot of stuff like money if there's not someone important in your life you dont really have anything. |

I've always thought it was the singer who was dying, that would make sense if it were can i stay alive forever. I think that sounds best--stay alive forever. And it's sadder. Then again, it could be both. He might say stay in love forever in one stanza and then stay alive forever in another. Songwriters change it up like that sometimes dont they? |
