| Amazing song, for me, 'the' song of the 90's... As mentioned before, its all about taking your own path through life and just getting on with things, not letting anybody stop you and just doing what's needed to make ends meet.. Its a song that I can put on whatever mood im in, or If im confused and dont know which mood im actually in, I put this on and it sounds as good as ever :)... Couldnt resist getting 'slave to the money' tattoo'd on my arm hehe | |

Well 1st its spelt 'saks' lol and saks 5th avenue is a very expensive shop, like Harrods in UK.. and shes saying that although she's rich enough to shop there, the place doesnt sell love. The cheese/rats, dogs/bitches part describes that theres always someone wanting something if you have money and 'if you got riches u got glitches' sums it up, saying that money is more trouble than its worth then 'if you got glitches in your life computer turn it off...' etc. means that you should forget about the money and refresh, then ur back to reality when its all gone... ofc then the 'cant just put the cap..' part describes how you shouldnt live for those riches, but live for the moment and the fun. Its a good song :) |
