Don't know why
I'm survivin' every lonely day
When there's got to be no chance for me
My life would end

And it doesn't matter how I cry
My tears of love are a waste of time
If I turn away
Am I strong enough to see it through?
Go crazy is what I will do

If I can't have you
I don't want nobody, baby
If I can't have you, uh-huh-oh
If I can't have you
I don't want nobody, baby
If I can't have you, uh-ho-oh-oh-oh

Do-da-da-da-da-da-da-da, hey
Do-do-do, do-do-do-do (ahh)

Can't let go and it doesn't matter how I try
I gave it all
So easily
To you, my love
To dreams that never will come true
Am I strong enough to see it through?
Go crazy is what I will do

If I can't have you
I don't want nobody, baby
If I can't have you, uh-huh-oh
If I can't have you
I don't want nobody, baby
If I can't have you, uh-ho-oh

Oh, if I can't have you
I don't want nobody, baby
If I can't have you, uh-huh-oh (no, nobody)
If I can't have you
I don't want nobody, baby
If I can't have you, uh-ho-oh (not at all, at all)
If I can't have you
I don't want nobody, baby
If I can't have you, uh-huh-oh (nobody)
If I can't have you
I don't want nobody, baby
If I can't have you, uh-ho-oh
If I can't have you

Basically she's saying Shes tried being with other people, but nothing compares to her first love, which is this guy! The fact is though , deep down she knows she and this guy will never be together and her dreams will never come true. For reasons such as unrequited love, or other reasons. So she know's she can't let go , nothing or nobody else compares to this guy. So she's saying well If I can't have you then sod it I'll remain single, I don't want nobody else.

The lyrics are very simple, but so catching. It's like when you try to meet new people and give them a chance just to forget the one you truly love. The problem is that you can't stop comparing that specific person to all the others, and when you do that you just realize that nobody is like him. So you keep on suffering, but you don't really want to stop crying because the sufference is the only thing that keeps you in contact with that person. This is probably the most genuine and deep part of love

I love this song! It's an oldie but it's a goodie. This one always gets me dancing and singing along, wherever i am. It'slike a disco motown track and Yvonne's vocals are great on this. It's a classic.

Who can't clearly see that like so very many country songs about your lover that doesn't want to be with you, you are a true stalker!

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Page

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
