Workin' from seven to eleven every night
Really makes life a drag
I don't think that's right
I've really been the best, the best of fools
I did what I could, yeah
'Cause I love you, baby
How I love you, darling
How I love you, baby
My beloved little girl, little girl
But baby, since I've been loving you, yeah
I'm about to lose my, my worried mind, oh yeah

Everybody trying to tell me
That you didn't mean me no good
I've been trying, Lord, let me tell you
Let me tell you, I really did the best I could
I've been, I've been working from seven to eleven every night
I said, it kinda makes my life a drag, drag, drag, drag
Lord, yeah, that ain't right, now, now
Since I've been loving you
I'm about to lose my worried mind, yeah
Watch out

Said I've been crying, yeah
Oh, my tears they fell like rain
Don't you hear them, don't you hear them falling?
Don't you hear them, don't you hear them falling?

Do you remember, mama, when I knocked upon your door?
I said you had the nerve to tell me
You didn't want me no more, yeah
I open my front door, hear my back door slam
You know, I must have one of them new fangled
New fangled back door man
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

I've been working from seven, seven, seven to eleven every night
It kinda makes my life a drag, a drag, drag
Ah, yeah, it makes a drag
Baby, since I've been loving you
I'm about to lose
I'm about to lose, lose my worried mind
Just one more, just one more, oh yeah
Since I've been loving you, I'm gonna lose my worried mind

There are two Zeppelin songs no one can sings but Plant: Whole Lotta Love and Since I've Been... The timing makes you believe in the lyrics and the guitar... oh man!... the guitar solo is one of the best BLUES solos ever written/played. It just proves the musical abilities from the members!

To me this song is one of the best to make love to. It is so sensual and the guitar is sexy, blues style. Jimmy really tears it up on this one while you can tear it up with your g/f or /bf.

Compared to the live version, the studio version is crap.

I am definitely going to fuck someone to this song. It's just so sensual from any way you look at it; Plant's amazingly emotional vocals, Page's crooning, dripping with sugar guitar, the soft romantic bass in the background, the sweet committed drums... it makes me hurt. It makes me want to roll my body on yours, dragging my tongue across your flesh, mouthing the words on your sweating skin, still rolling, still rolling... Oh God, I should stop.

Ahem. Lovely song, if I do say so myself.

it's a very sad song, sexy, but still very sad. a really true thing of this song is that you can love someone so much that you can actually lose your mind. i don't want to lose my worried mind again. this song used to have a meaning to me but i don't want to remember it anymore.

In a Robert Plant interview that I saw a few years ago he fancied himself a rock n roll blues singer. "Since I've Been Loving You" and "Tea For One" are the two best rock blues songs I have ever heard. This is a totally awsome song and it is funny because most people have never heard it because they only listened to the ones that were routinely played on the radio "Stairway to Heaven" etc. There are several songs that are increadible that are not commonly known by those who are not true Zep fans. It is their loss. I can't say enough about how great this song and this group truely was/is.

extremely emotional performances by both page and plant. by far one of the most convincing of their careers. Personal favorite song, hits close to home.

simple this song is about cheating in my opinion Robert works from 7 till 11 giving his other half the perfect chance to cheat on him 'open my front door hear my back door slam' his partner's lover 'must have one of those new fangled back door man' is Robert playing dumb as if to say i wasn't born yesterday. And my girlfriend says its a sexy song to make love to as well (better watch her lol) but a brilliant song and my favourite Zepp song :D

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
