I'm outta time and
All I got is four minutes (freaky, freaky), four minutes aye

I'm outta time and
All I got is four minutes (freaky, freaky), four minutes aye

I'm outta time and
All I got is four minutes (freaky, freaky), four minutes aye (four, four)

I'm outta time and
All I got is four minutes (freaky, freaky), four minutes aye (four, four)

I'm outta time and
All I got is four minutes (freaky, freaky), four minutes aye (four, four)

I'm outta time and
All I got is four minutes (freaky, freaky), four minutes aye (four, four)

I'm outta time and
All I got is four minutes (freaky, freaky), four minutes aye (four, four)

I'm outta time and
All I got is four minutes (freaky, freaky) (four, four)

Come on, ah
Yeah, ha
Break down
Come on

Hey, uh
Come on
Madonna, break it

Come on boy
I've been waiting for somebody
To pick up my stroll, uh

Uh, well don't waste time
Give me a sign
Tell me how you wanna roll, uh, mm

I want somebody to speed it up for me
Then take it down slow
There's enough room for both

Well, I can handle that
You just gotta show me where it's at
Are you ready to go?
(Are you ready to go?) (freaky, freaky, freaky, freaky, freaky come on)

If you want it
You already got it
If you thought it
It better be what you want, uh (freaky, freaky)
If you feel it
It must be real just
Say the word and
I'm a give you what you want, uh

Time is waiting
We only got four minutes
To save the world
No hesitating
Grab a boy
Grab a girl
Time is waiting
We only got four minutes
To save the world
No hesitating
We only got four minutes, huh
Four minutes

So keep it up, keep it up
Don't be a pri- (hey), Madonna, uh
You gotta get 'em a, hop
Tick tock tick tock tick tock
That's right, keep it up, keep it up
Don't be a pri- (hey) Madonna, uh

You gotta get em' a, hop
Tick tock tick tock tick tock (freaky, freaky)
Sometimes I think what I need
Is a you intervention, yeah

And you know I can (ah c'mon)
Tell that you like it
And that it's good, by the way
That you move, ooh, hey

The road to hell is paved
With good intentions, yeah

But if I die tonight
At least I can say I did
What I wanted to do, uh
Tell me, how 'bout you?

If you want it
You already got it
If you thought it
It better be what you want (uh, c'mon)
If you feel it
It must be real just
Say the word and
I'ma give you what you want, uh

Time is waiting
We only got four minutes
To save the world
No hesitating
Grab a boy
Grab a girl
Time is waiting
We only got four minutes
To save the world
No hesitating
We only got four minutes, huh
Four minutes

So keep it up, keep it up
Don't be a pri-hey, Madonna, uh
You gotta get 'em a, hop
Tick tock tick tock tick tock
That's right, keep it up, keep it up
Don't be a pri-hey, Madonna, uh
You gotta get 'em a, hop
Tick tock tick tock tick tock

Breakdown, yeah
(Tick tock tick tock tick tock)
Yeah, uh huh
(Tick tock tick tock tick tock)
I only got four minutes, to save the world

This song is easy to understand! I am a Kabbalist so I know what she is meaning. Basically the "4 minutes" is a concept about not wasting time. How people think they want to do something - but they never get around to doing it. and how each minute is important. Thats why the lyric is "the road to hell is paved with good intentions". its again its about people not acting and just wasting time and thinking about it. Its also about your "Conciousness". Meaning if your head isnt in the right place - you wont get it. Which means, if you want something, your thoughts create what you want. The thin about the boy and girl - is also about how life can change by having children. Anyway, its a concept about important things are to get done, and how we all talk and dont get them done>

This song is about "The Law of Attraction". It's a warning to everyone as to what's going on on a cosmic level. If you're not familiar with Rhonda Byrnes book the secret that came out around 2006, Madonna is trying to pass on some very important information as to what's going to happen in 2012 and IS happening now. The law of attraction is a universal law that says what you put your attention on you attract. So if you say I am a healthy person you attract health, but if you say I don't want cancer...guess what you're attracting? Yup...cancer. "4 minutes to save the world is just that." 4 minutes to try to educate the masses. I teach this as well as mind, body, and spirit. Visit my website for more info on the changes we are currently going through and will go through. I have links on my links page that should help. Much love and peace!

Agreed with the preceding blogger! Here's the New Detroit Math.
Four Minutes X 30 Years =Rock Brilliance! Madonna Saved and Changed the world one brilliant song at a time after another. Music is Her American Life and Ray of Light. She Lives to Tell and Takes a Bow and that is indeed Something to Remember. Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone is an American success story who made it from nothing and made something of her life-through song, dance and humanitarian work, the lady is the outcome of the happier aspects of the American Dream. Like the song says "Are you ready to go?/There's enough room for both!...Tick-tock tick-tock tick-tock..." For good ol' Madge, Music is a God-given gift of beauty. Four Minutes=Immortality. For Madonna, may it ever be so. Madonna Forever!

She writes alot about the law of attraction and this kind of secret that she knows and she is always hinting and putting random subliminals or double meanings into her words that can be taken in so many ways that it is hard to decifer unless you are into these things, like kabbalah, law of attraction, worship of baphomet and hecate, some people translate it into even christianity although Madonna frequently bashes religion.

This song is about taking a pill(probably MDMA) in a club and expresses the feeling of the user before and after. The first song is about a person who has the pills and sells it so it's "candy shop".

The verses in this song also prove it

"You already got it If you thought it It better be what you want If you feel it It must be real just Say the word and I'm a give you what you want"

Love madonna. Loved confessions. Was expecting a lot more from this song. Justin sucks and he's singing most of the song, and that he's featuring madonna.. I don't think this is her best work. Its very unlike madonna to bow down and conform/copy what is popular these days. But people criticized confessions before it came out and it turned out to be a great record. Let's hope this is the worst song off hard candy.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
