Oh oh, oh no
Uh oh, uh oh
Oh no
Stupid, stupid

The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
Tequila's made me stupid
The grass has made me stupid
Success has made me stupid
Stupid, stupid, stupid

When a conversation starts
You can't remember the question
Please sir, can I have some more
Get down go, go
Down go, go

When he's up against the wall
Another act of agression
I want you on the floor
Get down, go, go, down go

When a conversation starts
You can't remember the question
Please sir, can I have some more
Get down
Can I have some more
Can I have some more
Can I have some more

And when he's up against the wall
Another act of agression
I want you on the floor
Get down go
I want you on the floor
I want you on the floor
I want you on the floor
I want you on the floor

The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
Tequila's made me stupid
The grass has made me stupid
Success has made me stupid

The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
Forever's made me stupid
The weather's made me stupid
Whatever's made me stupid
Your love has made me stupid
Stupid

He has made me stupid
She has made me stupid
We have made me stupid
I have made me stupid

He has made me stupid
She has made me stupid
We have made me stupid
I have made me stupid

Get down
Stupid
I want you on the floor
I want you on the floor
Stupid
I want you on the floor
Stupid
I want you on the floor
I want you on the floor
I want you on the floor

The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
Tequila's made me stupid
The grass has made me stupid
Success has made me stupid
Stupid
The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
The sex has made me stupid
Forever's made me stupid
The weather's made me stupid
Whatever's made me stupid
Your love has made me stupid

I agree, this is a great song, thanks for putting the lyrics up. It's "Tequila's made me stupid" though isn't it?

Isn't it "get down GIRL" rather than "get down GO"? This is so amazing live.

OMG this is a truly brilliant song. Its simplicity in lyrical arrangement only makes it so much more complex in its realism. The honesty within these boundaries makes it so rich in self exploitationism that it cannot be denied it brilliance. Musically the song is layered with great sond, great vocal range and mixing. Truly masterful!!

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
