She starts her new diet of liquor and dick
Just like Hollywood, but laced in sick
The sun goes down, and so does she
The sun goes down, and so does she

Sold out the love that she had, left with a cut of the throat
Drinks all 'round on her before she strolls to the moat
The sun goes down, and so does she
The sun goes down, and so does she

Oh
Count

Count your fucking blessings
Come on

Count your blessings, 'cause I'm counting every lie
Count your blessings, 'cause I'm counting every lie
Counting every lie

Christ, I'm asking you for just one thing
I'm asking you for just one thing
Eradicate this disease

Close your eyes, pray for plagues
Oh Lord, cleanse this Earth and bring upon our doomsday
Oh, close your eyes, pray for plagues
Cleanse this Earth and bring doomsday

She starts her new diet of liquor and dick
Just like Hollywood, but laced in sick
The sun goes down, and so does she
The sun goes down, and so does she

So clap your hands to the sound of every first born dying now
Watch the rivers flow with blood, death will stand where life once stood

So clap your hands to the sound of every first born dying now
Watch the rivers turn to blood, death will stand where life once stood
So clap your hands to the sound of every first born dying now
Watch this rivers turn to blood, death will stand where life once stood

Close your eyes, pray for plagues
Cleanse this Earth, bring our doomsday

I think this song is him talking about a slut that he knows and how she used to be a decent person who didn't sleep around.

''She starts her new diet of liquor and dick'' ''The sun goes down, and so does she''

sexual references. the sun goes down everyday, as does she with guys.

And he is trying to warn her away from sleeping around and asking her to stop.

''I'm asking you for just one thing, Eradicate this disease,''

''death will stand where life once stood,''

How she used to be a decent person but now is nobody.

    Best song on the album!

    LOL aceindahole, just lol.

Anyway the song, yeah it's clearly got strong references from the bible. Plagues in eygypt. The first borns dying, and the river nile turning into blood.

Agreed he's talking about a girl who's turned into a slut.

"Sold out the love that she had, left with a cut of the throat" Basically she only hurt herself when she left her love?

Great song... I especially love the unexpectedly strong northern accents when it gets to; "COUNT YOR FUCKIN'".

    Classic.

    My Interpretation

Honestly, I think this about a guys struggle through watching a friend, ex girlfriend, sister etc. going through deadly, and. or horrible things. He is praying that she will get ride of this 'disease' , but he knows it's never going to go away.

She starts her new diet of liquor and dick. ~She[Whoever she might be] is strating her path towards sin, drinking and having sex every night.~ Just like Hollywood, but laced in sick. ~A point saying that celebrities do this, and she doing it too, but much worse, and more nasty.~ The sun goes down, and so does she. ~Saying that Once the sun goes down, either she's already drunk and passed out by then, or going down on another guy.~ The sun goes down, and so does she. ~Above~

Sold out the love that she had, left with a cut of the throat. ~She gave up everything, and she slit her throat, possibly killing herself, or this could be a metaphor, and it could really be saying how a cut of the throat is just like getting drunk and becoming a whore.~ Drinks all 'round on her before she strolls to the moat. ~She drinks till she gets extremely drunk, and then goes back to someone's apartment, house etc. To have sex. The sun goes down, and so does she. ~Stated Above~ The sun goes down, and so does she. ~Stated Above!

    Oh! Count!

Count your fucking blessings! Come on!

Count your blessings, 'cause I'm counting every lie. Count your blessings, 'cause I'm counting every lie. Counting every lie. ~This whole verse is the guy saying how lucky she is to still be alive, to not have gotten anything, or been killed by countless sex partners. And he's counting every lie she tells him when she goes out.~

Christ, I'm asking you for just one thing. I'm asking you for just one thing.

Eradicate this disease. ~He's asking god to give her another chance, to enlighten her so she can rid of this horrible disease~

Close your eyes, pray for plagues. ~To close your eyes, and pray that this will end soon.~ Oh Lord cleanse this Earth, and bring upon our dooms day. ~Someone wants to be cleansed so they can reach heaven at their death.~ Oh, close your eyes, pray for plagues. ~Stated above~ Cleanse this Earth, and bring dooms day. ~Stated Above~

She starts her new diet of liquor and dick. Just like Hollywood, but laced in sick. The sun goes down, and so does she. The sun goes down, and so does she. ~Whole verse stated above~

So clap your hands to the sound of every first born dying now. Watch the rivers flow with blood, death will stand where life once stood. ~It's saying that she is dying, slowly and gruesomely, the blood flowing like rivers out of her drained body. That where a pitiful life once stood, now is a marker of death.

So clap your hands to the sound of every first born dying now. Watch the rivers turn to blood, death will stand where life once stood. So clap your hands to the sound of every first born dying now. Watch this rivers turn to blood, death will stand where life once stood. ~Stated above~

Close your eyes, pray for plagues. Cleanse this Earth, bring our dooms day.
    ~Stated above!~

Also at the end of the song, there is a clip of what I am guessing is a porn of a girl going..

"Ugh, Ugh, Uh huh Cum on my face.." It's kind of like an epilogue, nothing he prayed for, or wished for happened, and she's still out there fucking everyday. The part also kind of leads me to believe, whoever's Point of View this song was coming from, is a bit delusional. Like he dreamt of her dying, the blood flowing out of her, because he wanted revenge for her life changing so quickly. But this is just my interpretation. Hope you like it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
