1-2-3... go!

Well all my life it's been the same
Me, I cannot afford your fear of pain
My frustration it needs release,
Cut me open and hear me breath
Playing punk keeps me sane
Don't need drugs to numb the pain
It keeps me alive
I hope it helps you
Do you think I want to let America ruin me?
No way!

I'm screaming out, somebody listen,
It feels so good to share my pain
I'm screaming out, somebody listen,
It feels so good to share my pain

Well I lost control and hurt myself
I knew deep down that I needed some help
This self abuse, it would not stop,
No matter how hard I tried
So I ran away from here
And I pulled myself together
Am I going insane? think again
I got so fed up with being unstable
No more!

I'm screaming out, somebody listen,
It feels so good to share my pain
It feels so good to share my pain
It feels so good to share my pain
It feels so good to share my pain

I'm screaming out, somebody listen,
It feels so good to share my pain
It feels so good to share my pain
It feels so good to share my pain
It feels so good to share my pain

I'm screaming out!
I'm screaming out!
I'm screaming out!
I'm screaming out!
I'm screaming out!
I'm screaming out!
I'm screaming out!
That I needed some help!

why do people fight so much about fucking music?? Im a punk kid at heart who stopped dressing lik a "street punk" because to many of todays punks are fucking nazis. to many of my "fellow" punks tried to get me to listen to wat they wantd. so i said fuck it! i am a kid who dresses however the fuck i want and ya i do listen to mix tapes that has minor threat AND some rap! isnt punk just about freedom? anyone who tries to make restrictions on a style (such as punk, or metal-head, or even scene) need to grow up. does it matter if someone has a mohawk (which i had) or a fucking average run of the mill hair cut. any TRUE punk wouldnt give a fuck! punk is about rebellion, any one who says anything else is jut a nazi. POINT IN CASE: in one song the casualties talk about killing hippies, in other they are tellin people to get off their backs? most punks are fucking hipocrites and the same could be said for anyone.

Yeah during their last tour before they wrote the songs for this album, Mark was so fed up with all the shit their so called 'fans' were saying, and a bunch of other bullshit in his life, he was on the verge of a mental breakdown.

Yeah loads of people can relate to this song, it's amazing and yes..probably one of the best on the album. WouldItBeYou, lyrics don't have to be subtle to have meaning to them...the meaning to this song is like poke a dot said...'screaming out is how some people get free. after bottling up everything inside, it's their release' so Mark is just saying everything as it is...'I'm screaming out somebody listen' basically. No subtley needed, but still stands as a fucking brilliant song.

"i strongly dislike how unseen wtires their lyrics. its just cut so straight and they have no subtle meaning to them. its" it's what? The unseen are pretty good, and their songs stay close to older punk, which I like. And older punk NEVER had deep meanings, it's part of the genre: no bullshit, just saying straight forward what you wat to say.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
