I'm desperate for changing
Starving for truth
I'm Closer to where I Started
Chasing after you

I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you

Forgetting all I'm lacking
Completely incomplete
I'll take your invitation
You take all of me

Now I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you

I'm livin' for the only thing I know
I'm running and not quite sure
Where to go?
And I don't know what I'm diving into
Just hanging by a moment here with you

There's nothing else to lose
There's nothing left to find
There is nothing in the world that can change my mind
There is nothing else
There is nothing else
There is nothing else

I'm desperate for changing
Starving for truth
I'm closer where I Started
I'm Chasing after you

I'm falling even more in love with you
Letting go of all I've held onto
I'm standing here until you make me move
I'm hanging by a moment here with you

I'm livin' for the only thing I know
I'm running and not quite sure
Where to go?
And I don't know what I'm diving into
Just hanging by a moment here with you

Just hanging by a moment
Hanging by a moment
Hanging by a moment
Hanging by a moment here with you

the fighting in here makes me sad. ): in response to what wolfwood said: being in love with something is completely different than wanting to have sex with them. it's rather immature to think those things go hand in hand...

and this song should be up to the listener to interpret. it doesn't matter if something believes its about faith or about a significant other. you guys are all being frustrating. ): it's what the song means to you, not to everyone. each person is different. and if someone has a different view, accept it, don't bash it!

we all agree this song is about a relationship, whether it's god or your significant other. it's still a relationship with someone who means so much to you and has changed you a lot. (:

"Their biggest hit, "Hanging By a Moment," was written by Wade for his wife, Braeden, when he was just 19. Wade said the guitar-driven sound of the song was inspired by Pearl Jam and other grunge rock acts from his hometown of Seattle."

Apparently all Lifehouse songs are about god. I know they're a christian band but when I go to see what ppl posted about them everyone argues about whether they're about god or not. Lifehouse have non religious songs, too, lol.

why do people like you feel the right to rip up everyone else's beliefs? what is it to you if I or anyone else believes in God. Faith is an inherent characteristic of humanity.

I agree. This song is about God. Anybody who has ever "starved for truth" & chased after God would know this.....

This was OUR song, but now hes my ex. It still means the same to me though.I loved him soo much and still do. The lyrics describe the feeling so perfectly. There is no other emotion that could compare to being in love. Just being with that one person makes life feel like your haning by a moment .A moment that you never want to end.

i disagree with honestyormystery, wether or not this song is about God. I think you can find truth in a relationship with a guy/girl. love is the greatest truth of all. it's what God is all about.

Okeedokee, sExY mAmA and melancholy, if you're still with us, please think about what you're saying. I'm an atheist, too, and proud of it, even. The reason I'm proud of it is because I was not raised atheist, but came to it after years of religious experiments failed. I came to a decision about my life on my own and I am at peace with it. These people have come to religious decisions for themselves that they're at peace with. Maybe they need their beliefs to support them, maybe they don't. Either way, it's no business of ours to tell them what to believe anymore than it's business of theirs to tell us what to believe. So, in summary, please fuck off, if for no other reason than that doing this makes all atheists look like assholes.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Midnight
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
