Why are we here. Alive, I mean. We are here to learn. To grow, to become. Wether your religious, athiest, or agnostic, the point is to evolve to the next stage in our existence. And we are failing miserably. We are acting like wild beasts without reason. Worse even, a beast has enough sense to survive, and no matter your world view, we are headed for destruction, be it from a just God, or an earth about to vomit us out like Jonah from a whale. We live for the self, damn the consequences.
We are asleep in our luxuries, blind to our suffering brothers throughout the world. God is in all and through all. God is one. God is love. We will never be one with God if we continue on this path.
Those of us with a covenant with death through the blood of the human/God sacrifice of Christ, need to check our reference on that and stop trusting in mutated doctrinal imaginations passed on to us over the years. Christ said "I am the way...no one comes to the Father except through me". Another way to say that is 'no one comes to the Father except through the Way'.
The Way is Love. The Way is Self-sacrifice for another. The Way is to not take the cup offered, because it is wrong to have someone pay your way. It is wrong to think everyone else is damned to hell. It is wrong to let someone be damned to hell. If you believe in hell, you go with your brother and hold his hand. Christ taught us the Way and we chose to ignore him and take.
Christianity has turned into a den of thieves. Zecheriah says that every thief will be banished. It only takes 75 hours to listen to the Bible on one of these new Bible apps. We are about to Thelma and Louis it over a cliff, and everyone is smiling.
